Has anyone ever seen Marvin Robinson smile?  Kid is all business and looks like he is going into his 5th year as well.  If memory serves, Troy said some good things about his "natural ability" at safety during 7 on 7's.  Me thinks Marvin will be the biggest freshman contributor this side of Hagerup.

Awesome.  I didn't know they stay at a hotel for fall camp....Looks like a very immersive experience, like bootcamp really....  good stuff as I'm sure that builds team unity and really gets everyone on the same page with the values and vision the coaching staff have for the program.

Am also impressed by how top-notch everything looks....the food they eat, the facilities....

Hope recruits watch these things.

I think most colleges do this. I know when I read the Bruce Feldman book on Ole Miss football, the Friday night before every home game they would leave campus and stay in a hotel about thirty minutes away to keep away from distractions. Colleges can, and do, spend money to keep these guys focused on the task at hand, I personally think it's a great idea.

I'm amazed that anyone can be that lean at 303 pounds. It's been discussed here multiple times, RichRod wants more agile linemen, not necessarily smaller ones. When I saw him lifting, that was amazing. Look at him and tell me you think he's 303 pounds

really help me get throught the remaining 30 days before the start of the season. I am really interested in seeing which of the frosh who didn't enroll early will flash. M Robinson should beat out Kovacs for a starting spot IMHO... Go Blue!!! I can't wait to sit in the BIg House (that's 30% louder) for the start of a new year...

The coaches want to see him at all three safety positions, I assume he's just going to stick to wherever he performs the best. Either way, I'd like to see at least one of them move to the other safety spots, those are two of the most gifted safeties we have on the roster, the selfish part in me that doesn't care about depth wants to see them both on the field at the same time.

This is something I overlooked; I guess I thought most of the players would follow recruiting pretty closely, and have a pretty good idea of who was coming in.  Maybe that's a little bit position or O/D specific.

Having had one class with a football player (walk-on), the one thing that really struck me is how separated the offense and defense seemed to be. He knew guys on both sides of the ball, but didn't really know much about how the offense was developing and who the key recruits were at all.

I have reached the following conclusions:

1. We will destroy all comers.

2. I love Kool-Aid

3. My skin feels funny and I need to jump out of it.

very at ease on camera as well.   Well spoken and relaxed. Just a great looking kid.

Oh...and i want one of those shirts he was wearing...with the helmet and the "offense" above it.  Very cool.
