When you write, "It's great how we can see these guys' character off the field via these player interviews." I automatically assume you're essentially saying "these guys have positive character attributes."

You then appear (to me) to associate Marvin Robinson with the "opposite end" of the character spectrum. Is that what you're intending, or am I completely missing an obvious point?

Yeah, you are missing the point I was trying to make.

I was simply saying that Lewan and Roh seem to be fun-loving goofballs and you cannot see that whatsoever on the field.  I'm sure when it comes to playing, they are all business.  I just think it's cool to see these guys when they're away from football.  I wouldn't say this is necessarily a positive character attribute, but it definitely isn't a negative one.  It's just who they are.

What we've seen from the limited M-Rob interviews, he seems to be all business, all the time.  I think his player interview would be strictly no nonsense.

I definitely wasn't inferring anything negative about Robinson in any way.  I was just saying he seems to have a completely different personality.  Not worse, not better, just different.

I do appreciate you asking, instead of going off on some ranting tirade.

Not the first time I've missed a point, but thanks for elaborating. I haven't watched any interviews with MR myself, so I didn't know what kind of guy he is.

The most positive thing I keep reading and hearing from both players and outside observers is how close the team appears to be this year so far. Assuming that's an accurate picture of reality, that may well make the difference between victory and defeat in a couple of games this year.

I can only hope that extends to Michigan fans. A Big House divided against itself cannot stand.

those stern eyebrows, who knows what MRob is hiding?  Woolfolk has his on-field alter-ego, MRob may only have shown us the guise young football players are trained to show.  Tough, serious, great abs.  But I would have thought the same about Roh from his pictures.  Tough, serious, great brows.  And here's this Arizona Tag-team relaxed and having fun.  That's what's great about this series.  Not only showing who they are, but that in the middle of a tough training camp they can be happy about being there.  And ready to show that stern and serious on the field.

The cheese factor is in effect with this video, but gotta love these two nonetheless. What would I have liked to see is Cyrus Hobbi join in and also say he is from Arizona and that he is coming to Ann Arbor.

I love these guys even more after this!!!!  I live in Scottsdale and these are not your typical Scottsdale douche bags.  Great kids to have on our team.

Not to be a wet blanket, but . . . am I the only one who cringes a little when people constantly make eyebrow jokes about Roh? While I'm sure there isn't really malicious intent behind it, you're still basically making fun of one of our players' physical appearance. If he were a player on another team, whatever, but I feel like we shouldn't make these kind of jokes about our own players. Some of them do visit the site, and I'd guess they wouldn't find that very flattering.

That comment about "If our entire team played like Craig Rohs and Taylor Lewans, we might have won the state championship game" seemed pretty cocky and dickish.  I wish they wouldn't say stuff like that.

Regardless, both of these guys are going to be awesome before all is said and done.
