Easily the most improved player from 2010 to 2011.

This year my money is on BWC to take that award.  Unless Blake Countess just comes out and says "don't worry guys, I got this" and fucks shit up all year long.

I remember the 2010 Wisconsin game, a guy in the stands behind me yelling, "For the love of God don't kick it to Gallon!". To have him go from an almost sure turnover to being a decent returnman and good/great slot receiver was just amazing

and I would lean towards concerned.

"Jeremy, with the new sandwich offerings, which one do you think tastes the best?"

"...they are all the best, they are all very tasty"

"...and I noticed that with the school year starting, there are many attractive girls on campus, has one of them stood out to you?"

"...they all do, they are all really nice and pretty!"

Concerned. Sorry your kid was a poor loser and bullied another kid, that's nothing to be proud of. (this is assuming he did it because he finished second, if he was defending himself or something more was involved then it's a different story)

I guess they edited this part out:

Doug: Jeremy, this is an interview, you don't have to pay me. This is $800.

Gallon: Soooo what, man? You earned that buck like a mothaf***er. Keep that s**t.

Gallon = Snoop Pearson still gets me every time I see Jeremy without a helmet.

I get the team thing, but come on Jeremy, just pick one guy who is the toughest to block!

I'm just going to take this as our defensive players are equally great and they're all extremely hard to block.

And in reply to your kid, just use it as a teaching moment. On the inside, be proud your son can beat up a kid but teach him why it was wrong in this case and why stealing is wrong.

Not to hijack, but Greg Mattison and Brady Hoke were on a local West Michigan sports radio station this morning, if anyone is interested. You have to listen to the ever annoying Ray Bentley, but its fun normal fluff stuff from the coaches.

Doug: What have you been practicing during the off season?

All players: We've been busting our butts learning how to avoid giving you a real answer.

Doug: Is that something the coaches have been emphasizing?

All players: You bet. There is always room for improvement. It's all about the TEAM.

Doug: Okay. What else can I ask?  Oh yeah, who's the funniest guy on the team? Best dressed?

That kid is adorable, but you can't get a thing out of him.

That said, Doug Karsch did far better than I could.  On this assignment, as soon as Gallon appeared I'd drop the mic, shriek "OMG Notre Dame under the lights wooooooo" and high five him while giggling like a madman.  11 months after that night, that's still what goes through my brain when I think of Jeremy Gallon.

I love Gallon's game.  Kid is just a good football player and a playmaker.  Every team would want a guy like that.

Denard looks more fluid throwing in these tapes than he ever has.  Hopefully that carries over to the season.

What is the preschool olympics?  I'm trying to think of what 3 year olds would compete in:

- Running

- Hopping

- Obstacle course?

- Balance?

I don't know, man.  If my son got second in any of those I would be pretty pissed.

I know it's just highlights, but man Denard looks SO much better throwing. His throwing motion looks fluid and effortless and the ball's coming out in a tight spiral with velocity. If he can do that in a game, we should be pretty good this year.
