The D-League as petri dish for weird basketball concepts.
Countdown to Kickoff - Day 10: Blake Countess
Did they really throw in a laugh track for this video?
That guy is going to be the next great. Love the way he plays
No question re: Denard's improvement? Blasphemy.
Awesome young man! Pick Six against AJ would be a nice way to start the season!
Countess is going to be a real good one for us... I think BTN crew will be at practice Thursday yes..... 10 days cant wait...
Are they going to be able to actually watch any practice? Or are they just interviewing?
I heard they are going to have very limited access in terms of actual practice viewing. They might be allowed to tape those awesome stretching routines and drills we got to see a bunch last year.
Maybe Thursday but it airs Friday at 8pm on BTN.
Was anyone else kind of creeped out by the moving head on top of the #47 jersey (top right) at the beginning of the video? It's some guy taking pictures behind the display, but it took me a minute to figure out what it was.
That guy appears to be FORWARDING FILM in his camera and looks to be chewing on a quarter cigar. Clearly, he is a ghost from the 50's press corps.
Gotten bigger over the off season.
/warning, comment on a player's physical shape coming
His neck/shoulders look like a D lineman. built in neck roll.
For sure. He seems older and more confident too.
Exciting to see more video of Devin getting WR reps (1:40), can't wait to see him on the field this season.
DOUG KARSCH IS TALL AND ASKS DUMB QUESTIONS AND SAYS "BESTA" CAN I HAVE HIS JOB I AM ALSO TALL AND REASONABLY SMART AND HAVE NEVER SAID THE WORD "BESTA" EXCEPT WHEN QUOTING DOUG KARSCH.
Can't wait for the season to start.
Or maybe Leon Hall
People expecting Charles Woodson 2.0 are grossly optimistic.
LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS, people.
Leon Hall 2.0, maybe.
Especially the Leon Hall reference because that's not out of reach for Blake.
is 100% possible. Similarities are there for height and weight. Woodson is a once in a lifetime player, there may never be another. Leon McQuay could be the closest if he chooses Michigan but he would still be v2.5
I'm afraid he's on his own improvement scale, though. Aren't there supposed to be generally high expectations for the position?
I don't think this'll be the year, but Countess could very well be the next michigan shut down corner. Even this year though, he should be a very solid starter. Our secondary is in the midst of what I believe will end up as an absolutely ridiculous two year turn around. It will be so nice to have a real Michigan Defense again. Last year was getting there, but linebacker play was too inconsistent.
