Countdown to Kickoff
Has anyone heard anything about whether MGoBlue.com will be doing another "Countdown to Kickoff" series of videos this year? That seemed to help mitigate the extremely slow pace of August.
I'd love to see some more interviews with players and coaches to get a feel for how practices are going.
I sent an email to the mgoblue.com folks a few months ago asking about this and noted that a lot of people on the message boards are asking and hoping for this again.
he said final decisions had not been made on what content they would provide leading up to kickoff, but it sounds like there will be something in the vain of "countdown".

Nothing but fluff in these as I recall but a welcomed sniff of wind in the late summer doldrums. Wouldn't mind seeing something like these vids again.
Watching those videos were the first thing I'd do most mornings.
If all else fails, I guess we could do more "Would you rather be 9-3 or 1-11 with a win over OSU?" posts.

I too found myself rushing to the computer in the morning to watch each video. The real jackpot, though, is if you are out of town for about a week, then you get to watch a weekfull of videos that you haven't seen in one sitting.
These really helped me get through to the season last year. And it was pretty neat to see all the players and coaches too.
I emailed Doug Karsch and he said, "I think we start August 5th but I'm not sure."

Not sure why I posted it here, getting fired up for football, tickets were in the mail today....I heard this song, I have no musical talent, and wish someone would rework it for Tailgates or blaring from our Big House Speakers on Game Day.....
