Frank Clark seems like he has come a long way from his laptop incident.  I'm not sure what went on with that ordeal, but he seems like a good, humble guy here.

...and that's 100% a compliment. Mike Martin scared me...Van Bergen, Graham, Woodley...those were scary football players.

Frank Clark has to prove it, but he's certainly got the stature that make you say "excuse me" just because you're walking down the same hallway as the man. The tools are there.

He's maturing and if he can put everything together, I fear for opposing offenses that will have to handle him for 60 minutes on Saturdays.

Clark respond, "Nah ... 'Lace was another kind of speed."  Love it.

Ironically, Denard may be the only one who could beat Clark in a smiling contest as well.  Seems like a good kid.

Supplemental to today's CTK is this article - HERE

Apparently, Mattison definitely approves of what he is seeing out of Frank Clark early on in fall practice:

"He's running 40 yards down the field, and the first thing, you look up and see a 275-pound rush end -- that used to be 217 pounds when he got here -- running with the guy. He's not chasing him, he's getting up there with him."

Holy shit! Did anyone else notice Q Washington obliterate that tackling dummy? Man I feel sorry for opposing QB's that have to face this D line, especially with all of the talent we have coming in it's only going to get worse for them!

I've never really seen him in an interview before this. It's hard to imagine that he got in all that trouble last year, he just doesn't strike me as the kind of guy do something like that.

Without points, the board sure is a strange place to peruse. If we're only using our words, how am I supposed to know who's wrong? Is it the guy who is being called out as an asshole? Or is it the guy calling people assholes? How am I supposed to know?! It's like watching on of those sitcoms without the laugh track; how's anyone supposed to know where the jokes are?

No, I was being a smartass back to your smartass comment. My original post wasn't baseless. If you watch an interview of Terelle Pryor, it's not hard to believe he broke NCAA rules. There are a lot of guys that you see in an interview setting that just seem like punks, and all I was saying was that I didn't get that vibe from Frank Clark. I'm sorry if I offended you with my original post.

likes lighter DEs? I mean I recall Brandon Graham adding weight his last season and not liking it. I thought he was great last year just under used.

Well, if you're basing your dislike of heavier DEs on Brandon Graham's senior season, then yes, you may be the only one.

Just of curiosity, what did you not like about Graham's All Big Ten, led the nation in TFLs per game, first or second team All America year that led to his being selected in the top half of the first round of the NFL draft?

This sense no makes.

You didn't like Brandon Graham's unequivically incredible senior year because he didn't have a good enough season in the NFL a year later?  Why does that matter?

Similarly, I didn't think Michigan had a good season in 1997 because of all the games we lost in 1998.

Is that the Pistol formation at 0:48?  Certainly a read option with the back going the wrong way (or QB).  But it looks like the RB is behind him coming for the hand off, not beside him

That was Tom Strobel taking reps with Clark, Washington, and Black for two clips in that video.  I am wondering if he's our #1 SDE right now.
