Could this take pressure off the players?

In a normal week all the focus would be on how the team is gonna perform. With all the focus being on RR and this story maybe the players can just go out and play.

I'm so glad I'll be at the game this weekend. This crap will be the only thing talked about on Sportcenter all day and during the coverage of the game. I don't think I could watch it without mute. The players will be so ticked by game time it could be a little rocky at the outset until they get settled down. That's ok, spotting a 7pt lead en route to a 45-10 victory is still fine with me.

In my opinion this adds to the pressure. National coverage and all (everyone telling them we NEED this game)...hopefully it helps, i just felt like we were moving in a good direction with great momentum (from what it was sounding like).

The possibility of an NCAA investigation combined with players on the team both on and off the record* being quoted in the article bringing the national spotlight onto Michigan does not take pressure off of the players. *I'm not blaming Stokes or Hawthorne. They're comments were obviously misconstrued and they were taken advantage of. That said, they in particular are likely feeling all kinds of pressure right now because they are quoted in the article, which kind of makes me want to punch Rosenberg in the face.
