For those interested, the Cotton Bowl just started on FOX (Channel 2 in SE Michigan). Texas A&M (10-2) versus Oklahoma (10-2), and Johnny Manziel just went Johnny Football on the Sooners for a TD if the call on the field is not overturned...
yes plz
Kevin Sumlin has to be thinking the same thing. 1st year head coach and he has a Heisman winner QB for the first 4 years barring injury etc...
The first drive for the Aggies included two rushes of 24 and 23 yards from Manziel, as well as 25 yards of rushing from Ben Malena. Kevin Sumlin has a warp-capable offense in the SEC.

Johnny Manziel is the genuine article. Every play has big play potential. He's like Doug Flutie with Barry Sanders ability.
E to the S Go Blue, Class of '04
That this is gonna be an entertaining and high scoring game.
Johnny Manziel is like Tate Forcier with Denard's speed and Tom Brady's smarts
Fred Jackson's hyperbole.

The Cotton Bowl got a better matchup than 3/5 BCS games. Good job by them.
Go Johnny go go, Johnny be good!
Do you bleed blue?
Apparently there is no "D" in Dallas tonight.
I hope the last college football season at Jerry's World is better than the first one of the season.
I joined the game late, and don't follow OU football much. Is Landry Jones injured? Saw he was on the bench with OU at the goal line.
I will fight 'til I am dead, a winged helmet on my head.
It makes me wish Denard would have learned to have that presence in the pocket and whirl around and avoid rushers with his great athletic ability, without panicking like he did so often before throwing an INT.
Am I being too harsh or truthful here?
Gus Johnson makes a 2 yard run exciting.Where did they find this guy?
"Are you an official here?Because you've officially given me a boner."
Mack Brown and Texas offered Johnny Manziel and RG3......as DB's
If you're doing nothing, how do you know when you're finished?
Yeah, he also passed on Andrew Luck for.....Garrett Gilbert

A&M just seems like they can do whatever they want on offense.
I got the shotgun. You got the briefcase. It's all in the game though, right?
Just looked at Oklahoma's results this year. They have given up a shit ton of points. 49 to WVU, 48 to Ok St and 34 to Baylor. Going to be a high scoring game tonight.

In the regular season, Oklahoma averaged 506 yards of offense per game, and Texas A&M averaged 552 yards of offense. Both teams also gave up almost 400 average yards on defense per game during the season, so the likelihood of this being a game where teams score almost at will is pretty darn high. The interesting thing is that, for both teams, those are middle-of-the-road defenses in their respective conferences.
Worse, I say this just as Oklahoma settles for three on another Sisyphean effort to get a touchdown. Stoops is apparently coaching an existential game.

is doing himself no harm. A&M still has a Big 12-caliber defense.
Under Armor Game? I wish they would have high school coaches coach that game instead of washed out guys like Mariucci and Edwards, who are more interested in self-promotion as opposed to coaching the game.
is maintaining that inset of the game during commercials...I like it a lot
Johnny Football had some nice jukes there. He looked better running the rock than any QB I've seen.
Becomes int in the endzone...sad.

Bad throw by JF but you gotta make that catch.
Maybe ill advised but that was a perfect placement.

It was a catchable ball and OU WAS totally offside.
Semper Fi All American Game on NFL Network now. The East (blue) has Ross Douglas (#6 DB) & Maurice Hurst Jr. (#50 DL).
when he was a JR in HS when he played with Tate, I thought he was pretty impressive back then, I haven't been following him that closely in college, but his 6.2 YDC on only 83 carries indicates to me he should get more carries.
is good field position
and
that throw there is an example to me of why Jones is a pedestrian QB at best, especially on the next level.
Dude's fuckin sweet!
