in this thread, or I wouldn't have known the game was on.  But saying he was beat 3 times in a row is a little alarmist.  And that last completion was great coverage, just a very well thrown ball that the WR made a play on (but really dropped - it shouldn't have been called a TD)

Yeah, they must be playing HS rules. It was a drop in college or pro. He had good coverage on the TD, but no safety help. Good pass and (HS) catch.

The game ain't even over, and Manziel has 485 total yds and 4 tds—22/34 for 287 and 2 tds through the air, and 198 yds and 2 tds on 16 carries running the ball. As a freshman.

We have that in common...he was considered a go-to option in Atlanta when Michael Vick got busted...his career here wasn't much better, but it didn't take the Falcons quite as long to figure out he wasn't the answer.  Dude couldn't beat out Chris Redman (who?) for the starting gig.

It is becoming rather clear that, when Oklahoma attempts to defend against the run, they develop hysterical blindness to Johnny Manziel and/or Ben Malena, as evidenced on that option play. Either that, or this is the somewhat typical Bob Stoops "Expect The Expected" scheme.
