Hmmmm, I know he's a great recruiter and all but ND's secondary hasn't exactly been dominant. Still, he's knows the 3-4 that the Pats run. And always good to see more Michigan men playing/coaching for my NFL team. No complaints, but he has a pretty tall order developing all the young talent in their secondary.

WHY WOULD HE GO TO THE NFL WHEN HE COULD HAVE AN AWESOME JOB LIKE BEING A POSITION COACH IN COLLEGE?!?!?!

I'm sure he could get a job as a HEAD COACH...at Pioneer High. I mean, it is a HEAD COACHING gig. Seriously, good luck to Corwin. I always thought the whole recruiting thing must be a gigantic pain. In the pros you work your ass off but you only have to coach.

this will help his reputation as a solid teacher/ coach for a HC/ DC job in college.

It's win/win. He can't hurt us on the recuiting trails anymore. He's another UM guy in the pros.

Rick Stroud just said on First Take that some NFL teams are having trouble filling their staffs with assistants because most think there won't be a 2011. Some are even taking lateral moves to college staffs for a better chance at a paycheck in 2011.

I think the Jacksonville LB coach is now LB at USC.

Let's cash in on that trend. We need somebody to jump start the LB corps.
