The sucker-punches attempted at Michigan are pretty breathtaking.
I'm 'All In' for this school and Football team. Let's kick some ass this season.
This could all work in our favor...if this turns into a Fab Five type "shock the world...us against them" mentality within the team, it could make us stronger.
I'm starting to take it personal.
Thats the sound of Nick Saban, Urban Meyer, Bob Stoops, etc. laughing at the kind of pussies we have up here in Michigan.
My hope is that the team takes this sort of nonsense to heart, Rodriguez emphasizes that nobody is giving them a chance, and then they hit somebody on Western so hard he has to be taught his name again.
Nothing against Western...I just want the last 12 months of nonsense to be crushed to death by a dominant performance against a team we should probably dominate.
I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit nervous about this whole situation... mostly because I have no idea how serious it is or isn't at this point. That being said, I hope we can put it behind us as quickly as possible and just start playing/winning games.
I'm with you. This is particularly bad after a 3-9 season. Like we need more negative press.
I'm eager to see what surfaces in the next couple of days. I hope this gets resolved quickly. This team's focus needs to be on the field.
More than just hoping we can put this behind us, I hope that there actually is nothing going on. I don't know how I'd feel if there actually was an issue and the incident just gets blown over with a typical USC/OSU wrist slap. That's certainly not the direction I'd like to see our program to go towards.
I'm feeling a bit of a "queme los barcos" vibe here. It's times like these that we need to circle the wagons and throw our full support behind our fellow wolverines.
and then the papers. Down with print journalism.
There is stink at least once a week about TUOOS football in the Columbus Dispatch. From recruiting violations, to player drug possession and consumption, sexual assault and on it goes. Are these serious problems? Certainly. Should they be dealt with? Absolutely. Does anyone in Columbus care about any of this right now? NO. Big ten championships and BCS appearances make all else go away. I am certainly not saying that our players should have free reign once we are winning again, I'm just saying the focus will be positive and not negative. Problems will be reported as side note issues rather than headline news.
