In general, you're best off in the middle third (roughly, rows 30-60) of any section of the stadium. Below that and some of the sight angles aren't ideal. Above it and you're a little far. But there are no truly bad seats.
My tickets are in row 9 in the southwest corner. It is tough to see stuff at the other end but not impossible. I think the action right in front of you when they come to your end more than makes up for it.
I bought tickets to the ND game the other day. I will be sitting in corner 18, row 2. Anyone have any experience sitting there? The last 2 games I went to I sat on the 10 yard line, row 5. The view was pretty good. It was hard to see when they were on the opposite side of the field, it didnt help either that I am 5'7. lol
I am also in section 9, There are a group of us spread all over the section between rows 38 and 62, we change seats each game(we have 4 pairs each owned by different friends) and i like row 51, in the middle of the row is rough but i can get a good view of the other half of the field from there.
I'm in Sec 37, row 10--where Desmond caught the pass--and while things are a little remote going the other way, having them come right at you half the game more than makes up for it. Plus, with the advent of the video boards, you can sneak a quick peak to get oriented when they're running to the south end.
I have only been to one game and had seats i the south end zone. We were in row 70ish and it was perfectly fine. I would agree the middle rows would be ideal, but wouldn't be upset with the upper rows.
Just watch out, because there is a spot in both endzones 12 and 34 around row 20-30 where the goal post bar partially blocks viewing.
I couldnt see anything past the 20 yard line. I watched most of the game on the big screen.
I bet those seats will be a little better this year...
end zones. higher the better. goalposts get annoying. corner all are good.
I sit in sec 33 row 22 and think its great. you're never going to see the other end zone well, but the new scoreboards should be awesome. I'd never turn down mid-field seats, but the game is fun and interesting to watch from the ends - you see plays develop and holes open in a way you never see on TV.
In sections 20 and 26 the last five rows can only see to the the 20 yard linebecause the press box is in the way....what year is it?
I don't think that's true anymore. The renovations brought the press box back.
I sit in Row 52. Excellent view all the way down the field. I love watching the play open up and see the blocks develop. IMO, its Michigan Stadium......Not a bad seat in the house.
I've loved my seats...great view when the action is at our end, of course,, and I watch the video when the LOS is approaching the other end. I've also sat in most sections of the student section, from around row 10 to one of the last rows; every spot had its pro's and con's but always a great experience...
I used to sit in section 9 row B and they were ok but I now sit section 26 row 76 and I honestly like those more. Low was fun when I was little but really higher to me is better.
Meant 36 not 26 sorry for the typo. I'm on my droid and don't know how to edit.
I have been in Section 16 Row 68 for the past 8 seasons and absolutely love the location. I enjoy not only watching the play but seeing how plays develop and I feel this view gives me the best opportunity to do so. Also in row 68 I am only 4 rows lower than the tunnel to get out so it is nice to be able to get out to go to the bathroom quickly.
no matter what seat. You're a part of the entire gameday experience ... just enjoy !
