He is reading the whole field, not throwing into coverage, and making good throws.  He does not look overwhelmed.  But, we cannot run the ball...like at all.  I think that's the defense making Morris beat them, so I guess he's gonna have to.

If Shane keeps this up, it's going to get SUPER awkward in here.  This type of qb play would have lead to some pretty comfortable wins a few months ago...and now what happens in spring ball/next season?

Why does borges get so conservative ON FIRST AND TEN in the redzone? Its always a wasted play. Go into endzone all three times pls

Because he has a true freshman QB with no game experience and doesn't want turnovers. Worst case is 3 points.  Nothing wrong with that phhilosophy unless we get really far behind, but it makes sense.  The bigger issue is the defense right now.

Yet I think Borges has called a BRILLIANT game.

Sometimes plays don't work, but he's called plays that have a chance to work if executed properly.

Borges BWW Bowl > Borges first 11 games of the year.
