is the football season is a long way off.  Hopefully some massive changes happen because if they don't, next season might be worse.  Hopefully we hold on to all our recruits.  This program needs them to rebuild this program.

Because Rich Rod, if I remember correctly, had terribly ranked recruiting classes. Hoke on the other hand has had some pretty high ranking recruiting classes. I just think eventually the talent will show. Right now we're playing with some terribly ranked recruiting classes and they are coincidentally, terrible.

Those RR classes were ranked #10, #8 and #20. So I guess we should be a terrible 13th or so in the country based on those terrible classes.

Except we are probably about #45 and there's many teams ahead of us performance-wise who would never sniff those kind of rankings for their classes. Including Kansas State.

Shane looked fine, nothing to panick about there.  However, the whole coaching staff is a hair on fire shit show.  Really, could not force a punt until 4 min were left in Q4?   I guess that 7-5 KState team was just too much of a juggernaught.

The nice thing about this game is that it teaches one that recruiting really doesn't matter at all, I would love to see a chart on M verus K-State or any of the other teams that Bitch Slapped M this year (execpt Ohio) and see if any of their best classes in the last 10 surpassed Michigan's worst class.  So hey, why obsess over any of it? Done.

The bad thing about this game is that it teaches that coaching matters a ton. Why can't these coaches at least "hold serve" with the talent they bring in?  Seems like too much to ask these days.

2013 is officially over, good riddance.
