You're a 7-5 team getting absolutely mudstomped in a meaningless bowl, your defense hasn't even pretended to act like they're trying to stop KSU, there's a minute left, and you punt the ball. Yeah, Lombardi Jr., keep playing that field position, keep blowing off that minute at the end of the first half every game, then have to scramble to pull something out of your ass with ten seconds left in the fourth.

I thought the defense turned a corner and had a light bulb go off after the OSU game. Supposedly they were playing with a chip, a sense of urgency, and more confidence. Where is the evidence of that?
