The Alamo Bowl is going to run late so they'll probably start it on ESPNU or something. I don't know if I picked TCU because I thought they would win or I just wanted to root against MSU. Either way it made te night easier.
the game thread starting guru, it appears.
I wonder why ClassofLSA didn't resume the role he took last year in starting the bol game threads. At one point he got competition as far as other people posting threads (someone in particular, but I can't recall), so he of course started posting earlier. I remember one coming in three hours before kick off.
a very competitive environment it seems, lulz
I thought kickoff was at ten so I posted it a bit too early, removing much chance for someone else.
I will say when it came to lane bowl game threads, LSA learned everything he knows from JHackney and my lame bowl threads.
could very easily go OT the way it's going
Solid game right meow
a cat? or just cool like that?
I purrfer to keep that a secret.
Enjoy a point bump for this line until the game ends. Truly a great reply.
I think you and I must have different understandings of the word. I'm actually tempted to use the Princess Bride meme.
In the sense of using mod powers for good instead of self-aggrandizement. The point bonus to the other is but temporary, leaving them in the same position as before given time. To me it had a bit of the flavor of the European monarchs of an earlier age who attempted to use their autocratic powers to help the lives of their serfs; reforms could never threaten the foundations of their power.
I have 18 on TCU so go frogs
Playing at midnight in the chicken wing bowl is hilarious.
and sparty tears still do taste like sugar
Or buffalo sauce.
Though we are separated by a great distance I am still amused by the sparty tears comments.
The art van furniture bowl would be better.
The Art Vandelay Human Fund Bowl has a much better ring to it.
Pre game Sparty, no! Moment. I'm out of natty ice bro!
With Minnesotas loss I really don't want the conference to open the postseason 0-2. Gotta root for a TCU loss, I suppose.
Touché, I'll just watch the game because I like football, no serious rooting interest
How much of a difference can it really make if little brother wins? I can't bring myself to ever root for a rival in any game. It's just not right
0-3 on bowl game picks today. Let's hope TCU bucks that trend.
Out of 4?
Make that 1-3! Guess I missed that Navy-Arizona State game, although by the looks of it I didn't miss much.
Over on ESPN2 and no one watched more than a minute of it...because it was awful. You can salvage 2-3 if things go your way tonight.
Even Sparty is wearing their traditional uniforms for the bowl game.
If you're in Afghanistan like me, this is a great game to wake up to. However, playing at 11 pm Nova Scotia time cant be good for exposure.
Spartan tears taste like Blazin' Sauce
He heard they drug test in the NFL.
Kiper and McShay said He would be an early second rounder going to Toronto.
Tell him to comeback Michigan could use another team who has average d linemen.
Who has given Maxwell credit for anything this year?
I don't believe I have ever seen that.
Does Sparty ever throw a pass beyond the first down marker?
Tcu record This year?
they lost to some good Big 12 teams and SMU
Even Terrelle Pryor thought that throw was inaccurate
Easy thinking and Terrell Pryor probably shouldn't be mentioned together.
Good thing they showed all that spartan schadenfreude
STAEE relatives call it bad luck. Its losing.
The hockey team has drove me to throw the Coke Zero aside and start drinking. Hopefully TCU beats them down and I can have something to laugh at.
This again? Why do the announcers have to mention several times a game that MSU's losses have been so close? They're not the first team college football team in history to lose close games.
I thought seeing all their losses again was funny
... if you removed the meaningless prattle and misleading statistics out of play by play commentary you would be left with silence.
