A little birdie saying Gareon Conley has committed to Ohio State. On official visit. Will look to confirm.

[LOCKED - PGB:  Well, I go out for a long lunch break to take my kid to get his haircut and I come back to this mess.  It took Ace, BiSB, and now me to weed out one f-ing bad apple.  Instead of trying to go through the entire thread and delete any reference to that poison fruit, I'm locking the thread and hiding the comments.  Sorry to all who wanted to comment.  The news is out there and I assume Brian will post it too so you all can comment in that thread.  And, yes, it was fun moderating a thread started by a former mod.]

No offense to the OP, but with so many threads discussing this already, shouldn't we just wait until he is officially (i.e. him/OSU/UM as sources) committed somewhere before starting another thread

Saw him play live twice. The last time he was shut down by a corner who may have a chance to play D2, most likely D3. We have better options.
Meyer is a bully when it comes to recruiting. It's a fact.

This is surprizing, I saw on FB that Tremendous said in an unpublished article that Conley grew up a Michigan fan. Thats OK tho, if this is true let's not all act like those supposed Michigan fans and start sending Conley tweets and what not. We should know better especially after the whole Dawson thing. The class will be OK, Michigan will be OK, the PROGRAM will be OK.

reactions are all over the place here. Some people need to calm down, it's Conley's life and he has to do what is in his heart, he prolly grew up an ohio fan.

I wish he woulda stayed commited to the big time school that 1st gave him an offer but oh well, what can you do. I was really excited about his height and athleticism at CB.

On to the next recruit that will help us be better, that is all.

can we please let this be the last thread on him? On another note; I've never understood how a kid who committs to Michigan or Ohio could flip to the other school.  I guess those kids make the decision to originally commit without knowing very much about the rivalry.

i dont know what has happened to this board over the last 1-2 years but i think im done with it. there are some great posters and people on this board,but i'm just done with the "know it alls" and the "flambaits" that seem to be everywhere now. i will still read mgoblog but i feel the need to post anymore is gone. see you guys around. Kalis decommited when Fickel was coach and not Urban Meyer.  Michigan has not had a tOSU commit switch to Michigan under Urban's watch.

Funny how buckeye fans show up to get Michigan "fan reaction,"  then go report it back to their own board.  (We do this about RCMB often)

I'm sure this will be the first of many flips from one school to the other as M and Ohio ascend back to the top of the B1G 2, little (how many now?).
