Good shit guys. Well deserved.

Great to see Novak and Douglass get this after going through a tough four years.

Sparty Nooooo!

Great season thus far.  Great to be back atop the conference.  GO BLUE!

(A big thanks to Ohio.  Most of you by reading the comments thought they were done early.  They came through big though. Yuck, end of that complimentary noise.)

Beilein has done an incredible job with this group of guys with Novak's and Douglass' leadership.

Who'd of thought in August 2011 we'd be Sugar bowl and B1G MBB champs.

I get that they had to practice a lot and had to go to class rather than drink Four Loko all morning, but these guys are headed to the dance for the 3rd time, they've already won two tourney games, and now they are hanging a conference title banner.

As someone who arrived on campus in 2000 and has never known a non-bubble team until this year, the last four years of Michigan basketball have been absolutely fucking awesome.

I guess that's true, but think back to about 13 months ago. People were talking about Beilein's days possibly being numbered. At that point, it wasn't looking like they would make the tourney, and the year before had been miserable with Manny and Sims.

Fast forward to now, and it seems great. But it didn't seem very great just a short time ago.

Maybe halfway through last season there was a case, but certainly not by the end of the season.  And even then, it was more a reaction to the six-game losing streak in January 2011.  We had looked respectable before then.

Midway through last season. And there WAS a lot of heat on Beilein at the point you mention. (Wolverine Historian below said they were even chanting "Fire Beilein").  Now, that doesn't necessarily  mean Brandon was listening to them at all (I seem to recall him saying something to the effect that "if I fired Beilein I'd just have to go out and find another coach just like him"), but it doesn't mean there wasn't a hot seat.  Though it was silly, because we're shown to be a last season team. By the end of the year any calls were certainly just the lunatic fringe.
