Come to the game tonight at 6:30 to cheer on for the upset against that school from ohio (I will now only refer to them as that from now on). Wear maize, and at half time, make sure to give Brady Hoke a huge ovation!
Come to the basketball game tonight- Wear maize
I'll be there -- section 28!
Now the question is what chant shall we use? Braaaa-ddyyyyy Hoo-ooo--ke (like we used to do "Rich Rod-ri-guez") doesn't quite have the right rhythm...
The first thing that came to mind is basically the same thing as a kickoff:
But seriously, I think:
BRA-DY HO-OKE clap clap clapclapclap
would work best
I think a two-syllable last name would work better.
I hope to god i see an Incredible Hoke poster in the crowd.
Besides the maize rage it was sad
A lot of times the maize outs at football games are pretty sad beyond the student section as well. People either aren't getting the memo or don't care. How about everyone just wear maize from now on? That'll take away the confusion.
Times like these I beecome a sad panda because I dont live in Michigan.
Would be nice to be there to see Hokeamania running wild with all of his Hokeamaniacs... Sadly, I will be reliving the glory days and winning the flag football championship.
Ah, those were the days......all those great plays on defense. We ran a 3-3-5 with undersized neuroscience majors. I know because I was one of them.
I wish I could be there but I will be cheering from my couch. GO BLUE!
...to cheer on the BBall team and boo Dave Brandon. Everytime I think about Hoke it makes me angry. Good luck to Hoke, the only thing he did wrong was openly campaign for a job that he shouldn't have been a candidate for. Brandon OTOH has managed to kill any excitement I had for the direction of the football program post-Carr.
Way to be optimistic there buddy... Get over it, he's our coach and I'm SURE he will do a great job. Plus, Denard and Mike Martin are returning. Cant wait till September 3rd. GO BLUE!
I was the same way but the more I see from Hoke the more I like him. Maybe I'm just easily pursuaded but I went from the "Harbaugh!!!" to the "Oh no he wants to coach the NFL" to "Les Miles" to "WTF DB!?" to now "Hoke might not be bad after all. All these mood swings I tell you.
But for real, now that I sit back and try to be rationale about it, the AD probably knows more about these candidates and the inner workings of football at Michigan than any of us do. MGoBlog and twitter can only give us so much info.
Ok, hopefully there is room on the bandwagon when you decide to jump back on.
