College Pop Tarts When do they hit the shelves?

Hey does anybody know the date of when those collegiate team pop tarts come out in stores? I've been to Meijer twice this week and I've seen nothing. Any sightings of them in Michigan?

Per the CBSSports.com article from late last month, they are supposed to be available sometime this month, or apparently you can also get them at PopTartsWorld.com once they are released. Other articles note that they will only be available (in stores, but I assume you can still get them online) in the states where the featured universities are located.

My wife showed me this thing on pinterest. It's a crisco candle. Basically, you stick a wick down into a tub of crisco and it will pretty much burn continuously for 6+ weeks. The 4lb tub would probably last longer, or you could use multiple wicks.

I'll be getting a box for display purposes only in my Michigan basement. I already have other similar items such as a Michigan Wheaties box, block M pasta and a Michigan popcorn can so I figured I would add Pop Tarts too. Not a huge fan of actually eating the Pop Tarts

To my recollection, those were issued at least 3 years ago. You would be lucky if they haven't become a breeding ground for grain bugs and other disgusting insects that nest in old cereals... Just saying. I'd empty the food and keep the boxes.

Good call on the disposal. I believe I got those in like 2007 so yeah there probably are some nasty things in there. I just never had thought to remove the contents because I wanted to leave the box as is but that makes sense. I'll have to see what I find in there.

I was just at Meijer today and I looked for them, the shelves were labelled for them (NCAA Collegiate PopTart "Michigan") but none were left. So, either they sold out or they are coming VERY soon.

Also, I hate Pop Tarts but get a boner for anything with a block M.
