We want lake state to beat miami, and western to beat notre dame. If that happens and (most importantly) Michigan wins tomorrow, Michigan takes possession of 3rd place.

Wow......northern got a 5 minute major AND a minor on a guy 2 minutes into the major penalty and state STILL couldn't score.

So FYS was on a 5-on-3 for about 3 minutes......pathetic.

So if western can hold on and beat notre dame, they will be only 1 point away in the standings from first place.

So if Michigan can win tomorrow, which I think they will. They will take sole possession of 3rd place.

Amazing how ferris state went from a bottom dweller to being in the conference race.

to win the conference.  They (after tomorrow's game) have 2 games in hand on everybody but Ferris, Notre Dame and MSU and are somewhere between 1 and 4 points back of OSU (pending tomorrow's results).  They have two @ Miami and two at home vs. OSU left, but those are really the only two parts of their schedule that look especially difficult.  I see Michigan somewhere in 3rd/4th with OSU and ND taking the other top 4 spaces.  Hopefully Michigan gets at least third, because I can see Miami finishing in 5th pretty easily and I do not want to play best of 3 with them at Yost with potentially their season on the line...

A road sweep of #3 notre dame is huge. They've put themselves in position to actually win the conference. If we can win tomorrow though, we're right back in it believe it or not. Only 5 points back of #1 with about 10 games left? That's well within reach of us, especially since we've been so hot lately.

The 2nd half is gonna be fun. Let's get us a national championship

A win over Ohio would flip a number of comparisons, moving Michigan up to fiffth in the pairwise rankings. Of course, there is a long way to go this season, but who would have thought that could happen a month ago?
