College Hockey at the Joe: UM vs MSU January 30th
I couldn't find this mentioned yet, and it's worth a post:
UM and MSU are playing at the Joe on Saturday January 30th, tickets are still available (and extremely reasonable!) so if you're in the area, come help make it feel like home ice for Michigan.

You won't be able to watch it unless you're at the games. Can't believe there's no TV coverage for the GLI this year.

I saw that too, and was absolutely shocked. The lack of coverage happened last year, too.
I believe that FSN pared down the coverage due to the economy, which, I can't say that I blame them, but that just sucks. It's a prestigious holiday tournament, it's happened every year for 45 years, and for them to just opt out is wrong. I mean, you really can't justify broadcasting it when you've got nothing of note on your airwaves?
You suck for this, FSN.

I don't think that the athletic department has sent out the email yet, but there will be a student bus that you can buy a ticket for with your game ticket for the Jan 30 game. If you're a student season ticket holder expect an email soon.
