College Gameday: Tate Forcier 3rd in Heisman "formula"

Submitted by All-N-4-Michigan on
According to the scrolling ticker on College Gameday, Tate Forcier is 3rd in some Heisman voting formula they constructed. I have continued to watch, hoping for an explanation of their formula. Does anyone know about this formula and how it is calculated? I am, of course, pleased to see our man on the list. It surely is a tribute to how well he has done thus far. But, that is a ton of pressure to put on a freshman. I'm not sure how "accurate" this formula is, but I do take one thing away from it; It has to be a good indicator that we have a talented young QB who will be awesome in the years to come. But, we already knew this. Any insight on this "formula" for calclating the Heisman would be awesome. GO BLUE!! Down with Sparty!

I believe they say that Michigan would have to go undefeated for his "ranking" to continue to hold. While interesting, this is a pure outlier and a non-story.
