Don't watch that trash over the Ryder Cup.

Agreed...there's already been a bunch of awesome golf this morning. Well, except for the FIGJAM/Fowler pairing. They've been stepping on their dicks more than a bit. Pull it together, men!

And it looks like they are doing just that...just needed to be coached up! ;-)

Awesome golf sounds like an oxymoron.
Golf requires goofy pants and a fat ass. You should talk to my neighbor, the accountant, probably a great golfer...huge ass!

The Ryder Cup is some very exciting golf . . . but, it's still golf and therefore booooorrrrring . . . zzzzzzz . . .

Golf is horrendously boring.I'd rather watch paint dry than golf.

Golf is too boring for you but soccer is the height of excitement. Noted.

Soccer is far more exciting. Golf is not exciting in anyway.

Obviously I don't appreciate and understand soccer the way that you do, but I think your characterization of golf is similarly based on your lack of appreciation for how easy these guys make a difficult game look.

Yes...I fondly remember the US Open being decided by a putt-off on the practice green.

Already had a Shirtless Clemson Guy appearance. It only goes downhill from here.
October 1st, 2016 at 10:02 AM ^
I say it is already down hill when you have that guy with the tie on ESPN.
October 1st, 2016 at 10:14 AM ^
Agreed. I don't like him. The shirtless Clemson guy on the other hand.... He's awesome.

The more you watch him, the funnier he gets. Shadow boxing an inflatable kangaroo, getting the crowd pumped, and fake punching the panel in their heads as the crowd reacts. Dude is what's special and crazy about college football.
October 1st, 2016 at 11:02 AM ^
Pulling off two shirts with one motion, WITHOUT spilling a drop of whatever beverage that is, is a truly impressive act of coordination. Especially since he's on some shaky shoulders.
Props

Have the watch ESPN app ready for the 5 hour drive home once we land. Might make it home for end of the game. GO BLUE!

I absolutely love Indiana +7 and think they could win outright. State historically has a hard time bouncing back from a big loss and it wouldnt shock me in the least to see them go in flat to Bloomington. The other game I'm really interested in seeing (although the 3:30 start makes it impossible) is PSU v Minnesota.
Would LOVE to see the Gophers knock of the Nittany Delusionalists.

I have to stand up when he talks.....
October 1st, 2016 at 10:47 AM ^
When he's talking over a crowd or doing a quick-take review of a game or something, rather than just giving a longer-form analysis, his voice gets crazy shrill. It's kind of awful...

The Hat is spending an uncomfortable amount of time talking about sweat.
October 1st, 2016 at 10:33 AM ^
Considering that he once described a light rain at a game as "a very stiff dew", all I can say is that at least his modus operandi will never change, and maybe that's a good thing for him at least.
October 1st, 2016 at 10:34 AM ^
"Probably gonna walk around the backyard, make some phone calls....and sweat..."
October 1st, 2016 at 10:39 AM ^
He left out the grass part but my guess is he takes a pinch.
October 1st, 2016 at 10:42 AM ^
I think it's cool that Les will be running around in his backyard and calling people up (prior to the LSU kickoff) to get pumped up for their game.
Les isn't ready to retire and he's another coach that's great for college football.

I wish Harbaugh had publicly invited Miles to come to UM and sit in the box or on the sidelines. Just to restore some dignity and respect for a man that will not have an opportunity to coach this season and is a very public UM alum. Maybe that will happen before the season ends

No way Les agrees to that.
October 1st, 2016 at 10:53 AM ^
Why not
October 1st, 2016 at 11:00 AM ^
Consistently, Les is about zero drama when it comes to Michigan. He flipped out and called that presser in '07 for a reason. He wouldn't even answer a question about it on camera for Gameday today. He's not going to roll into A2 and be a distraction to Harbaugh, particularly when his old boss is spending his time talking nonsense about how Les was offered the job.
October 1st, 2016 at 10:52 AM ^
That would've created too much of a media circus right now. We're trying to focus on winning football games and a possible tough one against Wisconsin.
October 1st, 2016 at 10:55 AM ^
Maybe. I think it might be something the media would put out as a nice gesture and show him once during the game, not really a major distraction. I think this gesture would show how much UM cares about its own.

Yeah, maybe when we're playing a much easier opponent. Therefore, if Les does become a distraction, it probably won't even matter in that game.
October 1st, 2016 at 11:35 AM ^
I could see him in town for the Illinois game, being homecoming and all
October 1st, 2016 at 10:53 AM ^
Les was going to see his son this weekend. He is a backup QB for the Tarheels. His HS son probably had a game this weekend too (Cornhusker commit).
