that trainer is freezing that players rectum shut so he can continue to play soccer even though he needs to drop a raging deuce.  Pretty standard practice these days

stop laughing right now.

I need a legit explanation from a soccer person on this.  I can't tell if the smoke/mist is what is causing the discomfort or if it is trying to relieve it.  Is the "sprayer" a good samaritan or he is committing some type of really bizarre assault on an opponent.

That is a very unsettling image.

Serious answer I got from reddit when I've seen this gif posted in the past: It's some sort of intense freezing thing to numb pain from an injury.

haven't laughed this hard in a while.  I think the funniest thing is that if you watch the "trainer", he is so calm and matter of fact, like he does this every day from 9 to 5.

Is it wrong that I'm imagining Mystery Science Theater 3000 audio here?

Dude with gun: Just relax sir, we're repairing the damage now

Guy on ground: Oh shit... I thought I could fit in one more burrito.

Alternate:

Dude with gun: <censored>

Dude on ground: <ceonsored>

I was one of the few who liked it since I usually take NYE off and watching football is more fun than the usual NYE parties, but I can see why they moved it.  Having it on Saturday will be nice too.  I just hope I get the chance to attend a couple of 'em to see Jim lead us to some big wins.

This probably tops putting the games on NYE in terms of stupid decisions that will result in as few people as possible watching the game.  You not liking the NFL doesn't impact this anymore than the guy who liked having it on NYE because he has no friends to see.

It's the highest level of the country's most popular sport.  Additionally, people who didn't go to college can claim fanhood for a team based on geographic proximity rather than university attendence, opening it up to a wider fan base.  Not hard to understand.

I haven't been out for NYE in a decade or two. I would have been fine watching Michigan from the comfort of my couch on NYE this year.

See, all it took was for someone to remind them that the current model for financing the airing of these games doesn't work so well when you schedule them at times when no one can watch them. I should say that this is fine for a mid-September Vanderbilt vs. Only Team Worse Than U game because you don't want people to watch that necessarily (and the only sponsor you could get was Uncle Ed's Oil Shoppe), but the CFP semifinals? Yeah, different strategy.

15 years ago we got a 4 page letter from my wife's sister about how advocare was going to make them financially independent. Last time I saw them they were driving a borrowed car.

Oh man. I have such a distaste for those direct marketing, be your own boss, recruit all the humans you know, pyramid schemes. I'm sure of it is fine, but...

My friends called me up to invite my wife and I for dinner for the first time and oh-by-the-way look over our current life insurance AND see if we were interested in "partnering" with them in some direct sales, pyramid consmetics company.  I said no thanks to the dinner and friendship once it was clear that we were just leads to them.

We also had a family member show up to our house for dinner with her felow business people (who were not known or invited) to sell us stuff.  Not cool.

What the heck is this thread about again?
