8 PM FOX Michigan State vs. Wisconsin (It looks like we'll be in the BCS anyway so go ahead and root for Wisconsin)
8 PM ABC Oklahoma state vs. Oklahoma (root for OK State)
8 PM CBSSN Freno State vs. San Diego State ( root for whoever you want)

Over Michigan, if Michigan is available? Zero chance.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:53 PM ^
But Baylor could take a spot. Hopefully VaTech would drop below us. We jump OU, Houston, GA, and Wiscy/MSU. We get jumped by Baylor and Clemson. That would give us the 2 spot bump we need just barely. Too much to chance.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:50 PM ^
I'd say so
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:51 PM ^
I don't think so. I think Houston, Oklahoma, Georgia, and the loser of MSU/Wisky all fall behind us this week, putting us up to 12th unless anybody jumps us.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:53 PM ^
RG III and his Heisman will probably get pushed past us
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:58 PM ^
I think so too. I was just pointing out that if we jump those 4 teams that we have wiggle room for 2 teams to jump us, which it appears only Baylor and Clemson have a chance at doing.

December 3rd, 2011 at 11:09 PM ^
Yeah those four teams should definitely fall below us and Baylor and Clemson will go up. My concern though is that TCU also won big. Any thoughts on how much they will climb, if at all?
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:19 PM ^
TCU has an extra loss and all of their losses were blowouts.
And since I don't want to reply to 2 seperate posts, I think we'll jump the loser of the B1G champ. game. Since Georgia lost, we can assume the rankings right now are basically:
13. MSU
14. Wisky
15. Michigan
A loss for Wisconsin definitely drops them below us, but MSU is questionable since they beat us. I think in that case it does depend on how the game is decided. Our resume and brand is better than both of those teams' though. We beat the 2 teams that MSU lost to, and Wisconsin's OOC was a joke.

The VT loss actually hurts UM's BCS chances. VT will stay ahead of UM, and it gives Clemson a small chance of passing UM.
As of this moment, I think Michigan passed Houston and Georgia, but Baylor passed Michigan. Michigan needs to pass the loser of MSU/UW or Oklahoma to get a BCS game.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:55 PM ^
VT falls behind Michigan. Same number of losses with their last defeat a blowout. Clemson will get the automatic bid.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:57 PM ^
I doubt VT is falling over 10 spots for losing to a ranked team.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:02 PM ^
*Getting blown out for the second time by the only ranked team they've played (Georgia Tech caveat).
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:06 PM ^
I think VT is a joke, but idk if voters will put them behind us.

Can you believe they sell action figures of those?

Fuck you Wisconsin.

Why does Fox keep playing the NFL theme music? I keep expecting to see Terry Bradshaw.
December 3rd, 2011 at 10:58 PM ^
Last year Fox started using that theme for all of their sports braodcasts (baseball, football, nascar, etc)

I'm tired of Kirk Cousins and his hyper-accurate passing. A college QB should not get away with as many throws into coverage as he does.

Wisconsin has the most docile secondary in the top-25. You could tell them the play before hand and they still wouldn't make the play.

December 3rd, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
I'm not convinced of this either. I mean, Texas is 7-5. Wooooo.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:02 PM ^
Yeah but it's TEXAS. Most voters don't even watch the damn games, they'll see the longhorn logo and just be amazed
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:05 PM ^
The coaches already don't have Texas ranked, and the Harris poll has 'em 25th. They ain't gonna be that impressed. The computers might, but they have 1 out of 3 votes.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:02 PM ^
It has to do with the computer polls. Baylor probably wont pass UM in the human polls, but Baylor is already very strong in the computer polls, and will become even stronger after tonight. When the BCS human and computer polls are computed, Baylor may have a higher overall score than UM.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:02 PM ^
Because for some reason, the computers really really like the Big 12. If it were only human polls, I don't think they would jump us.

For the love of God how do you not double cover Cunningham?

has absolutely no idea what's going on. Very impressive offensive gameplan by Sparty. I also believe they suck

That delivery was a mix between a shotput and a frisbee throw... and it still went for a touchdown.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:03 PM ^
Okie St. taking their foot off the gas and still cruising. Up by 41 and the defense has been dominating. Really weakens the SEC argument that Okie St. can't defend anyone. And they have a more impressive resume than Alabama. This would be their 5th win over ranked teams. Bama has 2.

If Wisconsin does win, Oregon is gonna hang 60+ on them. Their D has been awful.
December 3rd, 2011 at 11:05 PM ^
Remember back in the day when the OU/FSU game was so huge because of the national title implications? I laugh in the general direction of preseason rankings.
