They lost, and I'm sick of the SEC. And I'm actually crazy enough I'd like to see Michigan play against either Stanford or Alabama and beat them. That would do a lot more for Michigan than a game against Houston.

dude bama would probably destroy us.  we are a good team, but they are very good.  plus we play them next year. 

i like a matchup with TCU if that is possible.  we are probably a touchdown (at least) underdogs in most other possible matchups.  but as we know the spread often is meaningless.

no, georgia needed to win today...no BCS for them. The offense put the D in terrible situations in the second half, cant blame them IMO. Okie St. overall has the better team, Weeden is not getting the love he deserves.

The way the games went, and the way OU and VT are getting curb stomped, I could see all of them dropping below UofM.

The VT loss actually hurts UM's BCS chances.  VT will stay ahead of UM, and it gives Clemson a small chance of passing UM.

As of this moment, I think Michigan passed Houston and Georgia, but Baylor passed Michigan.  Michigan needs to pass the loser of MSU/UW or Oklahoma to get a BCS game.

How can you be so sure that it hurts us. Clemson takes the AQ spot for the ACC. Virginia Tech has the same amount of losses as us and has played a dramatically weaker schedule. They've played one team that's currently in the BCS rankings and that team has beaten them by 20+ points, twice. Meanwhile, we have a 4 touchdown win against the team that was ahead of Clemson in the BCS heading into this week.

OU will drop below us.  UGa will.  VT probably won't (will be close).  I have no idea what the voters think of houston...  they probably should be ranked lower than us because they are not a very good team, but thats not always they way things work.

But Baylor could take a spot. Hopefully VaTech would drop below us. We jump OU, Houston, GA, and Wiscy/MSU. We get jumped by Baylor and Clemson. That would give us the 2 spot bump we need just barely. Too much to chance.

I don't think so. I think Houston, Oklahoma, Georgia, and the loser of MSU/Wisky all fall behind us this week, putting us up to 12th unless anybody jumps us.

I think so too. I was just pointing out that if we jump those 4 teams that we have wiggle room for 2 teams to jump us, which it appears only Baylor and Clemson have a chance at doing.
