so much for that
This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.
will be michigan's highest pick in a while
money has to go somewhere
I am only motivated by people who have no opinion about me.
the just released schedules were a flat-out statement that the B10 doesn't believe SOS will matter in playoff selection
but I thought that draft was supposed to be incredibly loaded?
If you're gonna go please be in the first round.
another delightful side effect of a 14 team conference
How pissed will they be if OSU plays themselves into the title game? LOL!
Disgruntled former moderator. I got a lot of problems with you people!
Probably pretty close to how we felt in 2006.
Sparty does more effective face masks when the QB is already down on the ground.
Casey Anthony: Buckeye fan.
MSU playing Wisconsin style in the secondary on that TD.
"People who love sausage and respect the law should never watch either being made."
we're safely in now.
They lost, and I'm sick of the SEC. And I'm actually crazy enough I'd like to see Michigan play against either Stanford or Alabama and beat them. That would do a lot more for Michigan than a game against Houston.

If you think we'd get within 30 of Bama you are out of your damn mind.

We are better than Penn State.
You have an inflated opinion of this particular Alabama team.
It is spelled HOKEAMANIA. Our coach is an ass-kicking American citizen, not one of the Beatles, for Christ's sake!
Playing Stanford? Thank goodness Luck is going to be a runner up to Braxton Miller in the Heisman vote since... well Luck can't pass.
dude bama would probably destroy us. we are a good team, but they are very good. plus we play them next year.
i like a matchup with TCU if that is possible. we are probably a touchdown (at least) underdogs in most other possible matchups. but as we know the spread often is meaningless.
Insert wit here
Wisconsin immediately crumbles on defense
I think the announcer just came.
Need a stop Wisky. MAKE PLAYS!

Mike Valenti's rant after the 2006 ND game is probably the best 15 minutes in radio history.
I love saying that when a helmet goes flying.
Will wisely ever have their guys sit in the short flat? Pick six.
<3 Gus johnson. "You see the du rag"
Looking for BTTYS Nike sb Michigan Dunk Highs size 14, hit me up.
Considering what the Georgia defense was able to do to LSU first half (hold LSU to zero first downs), I'd love to see what the OSU defense could do.
Georgia is legit...I like their d better than osu's
Any realistic scenario wherein we get Georgia? I agree: they're legit...
... But not as balanced as OSU.
no, georgia needed to win today...no BCS for them. The offense put the D in terrible situations in the second half, cant blame them IMO. Okie St. overall has the better team, Weeden is not getting the love he deserves.
Agreed re: Weeden. One of the few respectable SEC programs that does NOT oversign.
Wisky is so inconsistent on D.
And you all know my trusty assistant, Al Borlan-d.
Thanks Gus Johnson!
44-3, Okie State.
Hail to the college whose colors we wear,
Hurrah for the Yellow and Blue!
Everybody get your keys out!

"Ohio is like a giant turd that Michigan just can't pinch off"
The way the games went, and the way OU and VT are getting curb stomped, I could see all of them dropping below UofM.
The VT loss actually hurts UM's BCS chances. VT will stay ahead of UM, and it gives Clemson a small chance of passing UM.
As of this moment, I think Michigan passed Houston and Georgia, but Baylor passed Michigan. Michigan needs to pass the loser of MSU/UW or Oklahoma to get a BCS game.
I write about Michigan sports at my website.
I still maintain we pass OU after today.
"We've beaten Michigan the last four years. So where's the threat?"
- Mark Dantonio
Blogging the Virginia Cavaliers at http://fromoldvirginia.blogspot.com/<
How can you be so sure that it hurts us. Clemson takes the AQ spot for the ACC. Virginia Tech has the same amount of losses as us and has played a dramatically weaker schedule. They've played one team that's currently in the BCS rankings and that team has beaten them by 20+ points, twice. Meanwhile, we have a 4 touchdown win against the team that was ahead of Clemson in the BCS heading into this week.
OU will drop below us. UGa will. VT probably won't (will be close). I have no idea what the voters think of houston... they probably should be ranked lower than us because they are not a very good team, but thats not always they way things work.
Hey folks, been out for dinner for a couple hours - 'd I miss anything?
Yeah: Cain is suspending his campaign.
Dantonio just went puntasausus. Sparty's gonna lose.
Dantonio coaching a helluva game
For the strength of the pack is the Wolv, and the strength of the Wolv is the pack.
Now Bielema will run up the gut three straight times against a stacked line just to give the punter a couple extra yards. B1G football baby!!
Does a win over VaTech hurt us?
I don't think so. Oklahoma is probably creating extra room in the top 14.
Clemson get an auto-bid, VT could snag an at-large
Over Michigan, if Michigan is available? Zero chance.
But Baylor could take a spot. Hopefully VaTech would drop below us. We jump OU, Houston, GA, and Wiscy/MSU. We get jumped by Baylor and Clemson. That would give us the 2 spot bump we need just barely. Too much to chance.
I'd say so
I don't think so. I think Houston, Oklahoma, Georgia, and the loser of MSU/Wisky all fall behind us this week, putting us up to 12th unless anybody jumps us.
RG III and his Heisman will probably get pushed past us
I think so too. I was just pointing out that if we jump those 4 teams that we have wiggle room for 2 teams to jump us, which it appears only Baylor and Clemson have a chance at doing.
