no, YOU'RE off topic
HUGE score for Clemson!
At this point, I think it's not a question of whether or not Michigan gets a BCS game. It's whether or not Ok State jumps 'Bama and we play in the Fiesta or the Sugar.
Would you rather go to Arizona (warm weather) or New Orleans(obvious)?
New Orleans is better on its own, but I'll take Stanford in AZ over TCU in NOLA.
Also I can drive to that one, which is nice. Bring on the Farm!
Let's get to the Fiesta and play a real Stanford team.
Someone else wrote that the Sugar is the only BCS bowl we have yet to win.
If that's the case, I'm pulling for Sugar, baby!
Holy shit a TFL
smh. A Sparty friend of mine just chewed me out for cheering for Wisconsin to win this game. Apparently, I don't know a thing about football since I am cheering for a team other than my own for an outcome. How other teams play has absolutely no effect on my favorite team or no advantages. Guess they still have a bit to learn about major college football.
I think my four year old daughter could tackle better than Wisconsin has so far.
Two offensive plays in a row I saw Oklahoma ballcarriers lower their helmets and ram them into the helmet of an Okie State defender. Does the NCAA not give a crap about helmet-to-helmet hits?
Its football. What do you want them to do?
That's another turnover for Oklahoma. MOAR POINTS!!
Fire Bob Stoops!
Ok St has to jump Bama after this craziness
The big question for me now, is not whether we'll play in a bcs bowl, It's who the hell are we going to play?
When did Keyshaun get on the same level as Cher, Madonna, Prince.....?
I always thought he had a last name Martin. Apparently not, at least based on Gus Johnson's commentating.
You all should really watch the VT-Clemson game (ESPN). It's a good one.
Good as in exciting - not good for Michigan.
Do we get jumped by Clemson?
No but tcu could
To jump us. They only have to get to 16, right? Could that end up being w problem for us?
could we get Stanford in the Fiesta Bowl?
Replacement Selections (occur first)
Sugar - Bama (replaces SEC champ and #1 LSU)
Fiesta - Stanford/Michigan (replaces Big 12 champ and #2 Ok State)
At Large Selections (2012 order: Fiesta, Sugar, Orange)
Fiesta - Stanford/Michigan
Sugar - TCU
Orange - West Virginia
*Rose would be Oregon vs. Wisconsin/MSU and ACC champ (Clemson would go to the Orange.
Haha Worthy called for offsides.
took long enough. One play later commentators are all gushing over sparty, though.
Worthy has been jumping offsides all night.
LolWorthy. He's pretty much useless if he doesn't jump the snap. He's a beast at jumping the snap, but that's his whole game.
You are correct. You never see him do much without being in the backfield before anyone else can react. Gotta give him credit for being pretty damn quick for a 300+ pounder though. Worthy makes a living out of jumping the snap count. I'm not really sure how he is so good at it. Maybe he watches alot of film?
If a team really wanted to, they could go with a hard count and get Worthy offsides EVERY time.
scratch marks on the helmet. think players intentionally do this before games? i dont think theres anything sharp enough of helmets or jerseys to do that type of damage during gameplay, but i could be wrong.
Our guys do it too. Some teams elect not to re-touch their helmets at the end of the week before the game. Michigan's equipment staff and a few volunteers touched up ours on Friday night into Saturday morning, but I don't think they did this year, at least not for certain players.
Are you saying Mike Martin's helmet is a fraud?????
Man, Sparty is FAST...
... despite having to wear those electronic house-arrest ankle monitors. Impressive.
Wisconsin is worthless.
Okay maybe not.
Fuck u Sparty
That. Just. Happened.
I'm not watching that clusterf-ck.. what happened?
Worthy got a sack on Wilson, but was offsides because he jumped the snap too early, then on the next play Wilson found a man standing in the end zone wide open.
I'd say at this point it's a better game than the ACC Championship,
Probably true, but I can't stand either team and the announcers are unlistenable.
Both very valid points.
But it's all worth it when you see Keyshawn Martin get hit so hard that his helmet and du-rag fly off.
Wilson is amzing, cannon for an arm
this game is kind of exciting
Dude is annoying and tries too hard.
Will he at some point give us the more negative version of the saying?
What the hell does "making chicken salad out of that play" mean? The exquisite commentary after Wisky's TD.
Comes from the saying, making chicken salad out of chicken shit.
Questionable offsides call is questionable.
don't you go for two? if you get it, you're tied. if you don't get it, you're one score down. if you just go for pat, you're one score down. what's the benefit of just one point in that situation?
