College Football #3

According to a Harris Poll, College Football is the third most popular American sport behind NFL and MLB.   The demographic differences at the bottom are funny.  Auto-racing over indexes for households with an income below $35k and in rural areas.  Football under-indexes with Easterners, Liberals and Democrats.  (Not trying to start a political debate, but the Eastern part is interesting in regards to Maryland and Rutgers.)   College Football over-indexes with Southerners.

Ive done a whle bunch of fancy statistical analysis that you guys wouldnt understand and i have come to the conclusion that people hate watching peyton manning play football, which is shown by the 36% that said pro football was their favorite sport in 2011 when it was only 31% in 2010

I'm really surprised how close the NHL is ti the NBA. Only separated by one percent. I don't even think this poll included Canadians as well. However if you had watched ESPN, You would've thought the NBA was king and NHL was a minor league.

Terrible product with some great athletes. It is just watered down way too much. The travelling is ridiculous!

There's a gigantic, glaring omission here... they're ignoring a sport that would swamp NASCAR for the coveted "living in rural areas with household income less than $35K with education of HS or less" demographic.

Yes, it's a travesty that pro wrestling isn't included. Rowdy Roddy Piper is busting up furniture over this right now.
