College basketball is for suckers/Jaylen Brown likely to Kentucky negbang

Following college basketball means Michigan having to take down two Final Four banners when Duke has twice made the Final Four while (likely) playing ineligible players.  http://straighthoops.com/articles_9.html

Following college basketball means losing Mitch McGary for a year b/c he tested positive for marijuana once even when McGary's punishment in AA for being caught with a small amount of the stuff would have cost him nothing more than a $25 fine.

Following college basketball means losing recruits to a school - Kentucky - that openly flaunts the luxury apartments that its players live in.  http://larrybrownsports.com/college-basketball/kentuckys-housing-chef-flat-screens/153247

I'm mad as heck, and I'm...going to sit here and be mad for a few more minutes!  I say this calls for a negbang!

Cool man. I went to Brian Ellerbe Basketball Camp. Twice. And had student tickets for four years of Tommy Amaker.

So let's talk about how bad we have it following Michigan basketball in 2015.

yup, followed by a combination of uniformed hate, blind beilein apologists, and other general nastiness before the kid turns out to be decent halfway thru the year.

David Lynch announced he's no longer a part of the project because Showtime won't give him the money he needs to carry out his vision. That sounds a little suspicious because the original TP wasn't really all that high budget. Could be Lynch just flaking because he's a weird guy. Genius, but weird.

The positives are that he's written the scripts (I believe) for the episodes and his TP co creator Mark Frost is still involved. Also worth mentioning that DL himself wasn't involved with the original TP after the first few episodes, until he returned to direct the finale (which may be the single greatest work in TV history).

Long story short: Reboot will probably happen because it's showtime and they'll push through anything even if it's garbage (ie homeland post season 2), but Lynch is probably gone.

You give up too easily. I still think Jaylen Brown is coming here. I'd be really surprised if Kenny Williams cancelled his visit for a reason other than Michigan telling him they were full (or a more vague reason so as to keep things a bit more quiet).

Notice how, despite all the scuttlebutt today, very few of the national guys have indicated they think Brown is going to Kentucky (on the Crystall Ball or otherwise).
