Kentucky vs. Duke starting shortly

Then CFP rankings announced at 9:30.

Then Kansas vs. MSU afterward.

A bunch of teams I dislike, all playing in the same night!  On ESPN.

I am luke-warm on the overlap...Maybe I am the exception.  I find it hard to really get into basketball during football and I would LIKE to care more about UM hoops during Nov./Dec. but don't find myself following it closely enough since I was in Ann Arbor..  Either way, I will agree that its a great Tues/Wed filler!

The 4-star players that sit the bench for Kentucky can play checkers on their shorts if they get bored.   At least we aren't the only team with awful patterns on our shorts.

MSU doesn't sniff the amount of success those 3 programs have had all-time.

UCLA should be in that spot if we're truly calling it the Champions Classic.

National titles: UCLA (11), Kentucky (8), Duke (5), Kansas (3), MSU (2)

Final Fours: Kentucky & UCLA (17), Duke (16), Kansas (15), MSU (9)

All-time wins rank: #1 Kentucky, #2 Kansas, #4 Duke, #7 UCLA, #30 MSU

Get out of here with that, man. You're literally doing the exact same thing - starting in a year that benefits your argument. I'm all for pointing out when MSU tries to put themselves in a group they don't belong. All I'm saying is that making that claim in basketball, a sport they've been just about as successful as anyone else the last 20 years, is weak.

If we're going to start with a data point for measuring a program's success, I don't think it's unreasonable to choose one that would be within the years that the current players or recruits or, heck, you have been alive.
