I'm clearly wrong there. But "upset alert" for this game when there was still 1 minute + 1/2 of an entire game is a bit alarmist...no?

And to clarify, Santa Clara is an excellent college, and has a great women's soccer program, but I was referring to their likely competitive ability vs. Duke in basketball, with half the game remaining.

If Santa Clara keeps it close and we roll the Chips tonight maybe we get enough votes on Monday to be #1.  That would look nice heading into conference play!!

Lol, duke is getting all the calls. Everytime plumlee gets the ball they call the foul on whoever is gaurding him. Not to mention he is traveling on just about every possession, yet it never gets called.

Yeah I totally agree, that last one was the correct call. But the 2 fouls on him earlier this half were jokes, as are the majority of the calls.

This is exactly what you can expect when Duke plays at home... Every little contact is a foul against whoever Duke is playing. Even against OSU this exactly what occurred.

2013 will be the year.

I'm surprised Duke is struggling with Santa Clara after all the impressive wins they have this year.

I was surprised to see that Santa Clara was ranked 87 on kenpom, which makes them a reasonable opponent. Pretty sure duke should win by around 15, they have played very sloppy this half so far, missing a lot of free throws and Layups.

Well I was largely unimpressed with plumlee and the duke team as a whole(off day). I think that may have been the worst  20 point and 13 rebounds performance I've seen from a player, since he was gifted  the majority of his points. He shot 13 freethrows and deserved to shoot about 2. Not to mention he was traveling everwhere. If anyone touched him...free throw. The majority of the team I was unipressed with as well today, no one seemed to make a true impact.

My only exception to that was Seth Curry. He played really well and impressed me a lot.

Ready to see what this freshman from UNLV is like that the talking heads keep referring to. It's also weird not seeing UNC and Kentucky both not ranked.
