Colin Cowherd: "Michigan not a raucous environment"

Submitted by lukepanici on

He says ND will come into the big house and win, citing Michigan's lack of a rowdy environment and basically saying Michigan Stadium is not much of a home field advantage.

For everyone that will be there, we finna bring it..

Go Blue! Lets kick some Irish Ass and leave 'em looking like..

I hate the fact that we're labeled as not loud; it bugs me to no end.  All of my years as a student, I did everything I could to make noises.

I am now an Alumnus who is not rich enough to buy season tickets, so I've been ushering the past two seasons.  Even in my "official capacity," I make noises.  Even if the old lady usher I work with claims the "clapping hurts my ears."

Night games are different critters.

Penn State has gotten a reputation as a rowdy intimidating place to play, and it's because of their night games.

I grew up in PA and had members of my family attend Penn State.  I've attended a number of PSU games.  I gotta tell you, a Penn State game at noon against a non-rivalry opponent is nothing special.  It's not like the night games at all.  It's situational.  Lots of passiveness and golf claps, just like at the Big House.

I have a feeling a Michigan night game will open some eyes.

Cowherd has said many times that people are way to invested in sports. He claims he is paid to be interesting, not to be right when it comes to sports. I do think he is interesting and brings up many points and topics that many other sports talking heads are scared to touch. He also intentionally pisses people off because drama brings him good ratings.
