Coaches Hot Seat Blog 2014: Brady Hoke Edition, Sept 22
For those of you who hate Mondays as it is. don't click here.
I did, and now I feel worse than I did before.
Except that Hoke is No. 9 on the list, somehow below Dana Holgorson and Norm Chow. So that's a good thing, right? Errr....maybe not.....Goddammit!

I almost fainted until I realized I was reading satire....

The only thing that made me feel better than Spartans today is that people I know were posting the article on social media with phrases like "Keep up the Good Work", "Why Reward a Loser?", etc... They didn't realize it was satire at all until I called them out.

Who wrote this but every single player on Michigan's roster would beat the ever living shit out of this clown. It is one thing to attack a coach doing a shit ass job but to say the players aren't "man enough" should come with an ass beating.

maybe they should just play better instead

Jimbo Fischer even be on that list. Dumb.

we won't truly know if Brady Hoke's seat is getting hot until he starts cooking hot dogs on it.

I'll believe his seat is hot when i see the Ann Arbor Flight Tracker in action

left Willow Run on its way to Medina, Ohio. That's pretty close to where Jim Tressel lives now.

Yours truly also lives in Medina, Ohio. Perhaps DB sent the jet to cause he wants to talk to me?

Outside of never going to happen longshots like kevin sumlin or a harbaugh I wonder if anyone else is interested in trying to hire dan mullen from mississippi state. He is still pretty young at 42, has pulled in a few top 25 ranked classes while at msu, has a long list of successfull quarterbacks and will probably be coming off a successful year this year meaning he would come with not only something new but actual legitimate excitement. That might be my realistic dream hire assuming this season plays out like we expect it to. Only downside is there is a good chance the florida job is available this year too and he is a former florida oc so he would probably pick them over michigan.

I wouldn't mind Mullen but he wouldn't be my first choice. I also don't think Florida will be considered an automatic better job. Its easier to win in the B10 and their is less competition for in-state recruits. Florida State is the new big dog down there and i don't think they are gonna be giving that up anytime soon.

Sure but he has a history at florida as the OC under urban, if he liked it down there that might be enough to sway him since the jobs are probably pretty equal over all.

Currently he is in a state where he has to fight in state with a bigger rival (Ole Miss) and he plays Alabama, Auburn, and LSU every year. The first two have played for a national championship every game since W was in the White House. All three have earned national championships (6 in the last 10 years). He is basically fighting for fourth in the division in any given year.
I see him going to Michigan for the same reason Saban went to LSU.

That blog is some of the worst writing I have ever seen in my life. It's like an algorithm that combines the worst posts on the MGoBoard and applies them to college football as a whole.

past Jimbo Fisher. A) the fact that Fisher is even on there is hilarious and B) his reasoning is horrendously idiotic.

I cannot imagine a scenario where he can succeed now.
Examples where it's just too big a job for him (I'm sure you have your own):
1. Blown time out not called against Penn State last year ad play clock runs out on Devin,
2. Keeps Oline coach - Shut the front door on that one.
3. 10 guys on the punt coverage,
4. Refuses to wear a headset,
5. and now the pressure is too much for him emotionally - see Mattison argument.
6..... It's time to stop kidding ourselves.
Dave Brandon needs to pull a Mal Moore and fly to San Francisco or Baltimore and get a commitment from a Harbaugh to be our next coach. Period. My personal preference is Jim Harbaugh because I would love to see Jim slap Urban Liar on the back at the post game handshake. I would love it!!!
