Nope, I hear they use those teleporting things from Star Trek. Denard teleports twice as fast though.....

Hmm, have you tried attending the Victor's Walk?
Might be more rewarding...

Rich Rod was the one that started this 3 years ago. To my knowledge he was the first and only coach to do this. Now that we are back to a Michigan Man - not sure if the walk will continue. It was roughly 2 hours before kickoff and they walked past Crisler and into the tunnel entering the stadium Cheerleaders cheered and some band members performed.

The Victors Walk was started in the 1960's and continued into the Bo years, according to Rittenberg. No idea why it stopped, but RR brought it back. I'm sure this is probably documented somewhere else too, but I just happened to be reading this list of M traditions yesterday and remember seeing it on the list.

I remember reading somewhere that it was in the works to bring it back even prior to RR taking the job.

They repel down from the press box approximately 154.5 minutes before kick off. If you get there early you might be able to see the visiting team arrive through the trap door at the twenty yard line.

Wow, I butchered the spelling of rappel.

So the parachuter last year was just a player arriving late?

Hoke is secretly working with the Aerospace Engineering Department. They are developing a gravitational ray gun. This will cause a lunar eclipse to block out the sun. Then the media guys will play "American Bad Ass" and he will enter. The ray gun will trun off so the sun will shine again and he will be at the 50 pointing at the crowd.
I cant wait to see this.

Hoke better enter to "Real American" or I'll be really disappointed.

As soon as I saw this thread title, I immediately set a number in my head for how many people are going to post something outrageous that Michigan does before games. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. Denard teleports twice as fast made me laugh. Anyways, The Victor's Walk was awesome. I saw this last yr when they played UMASS. It was my first trip to Big House and it was very memorable. I hope Hoke does somethign similar to this. I did not know RR implemented it, this is something that should stay.

When i first herd about it i was very excited for it and i had to see it. I then came away disapointed after seeing it. I have been to Penn State and watched them and Joe Pa arrive and that was pretty cool. I Think they need to make the Victors Walk Longer. They should make a path from Schembechler Hall and start the Walk there, the 30 seconds they walk from the bus leaves a lot to be desired.

It's all about the nude powerwalk to the stadium. It's euphemism for stripping yourself of the disappointments of the last three years and starting over fresh. Players will begin their walk to the stadium from Frat row, tearing away their street clothes as they go. Fans are encouraged to join in.

on how they enter, i just want them to leave winners.
Oh and bring back Michigan Replay please.

I may be a bit neurotic but when people screw up that phrase it drives me abso-fucking-lutely nuts.

I'm quite shocked nobody has bombed this post yet for the wrong capitalizations, general misspellings and lack of coherence. I think all the grammar nazi talk has some guys a little tenative with their shot. I generally take a "who cares" approach, but this thing has got to be a little piece of heaven for the grammar police. Just take your red pen out and go to town. Don't worry about the backlash.

If someone has one blatant grammatical error or misspelling, I might point it out for their own knowledge. But there's a certain point where it's no longer worth the effort. The OP reaches that point.

Hey guys, I have a question? My question is<--(no need for this) Do the players and coaches walk into the stadium at a certain time before games? I was at the Penn State and Michigan game this past season and my buddy and I lined up and watched Joe Pa and the players drive up in buses and walk into the stadium (too many ands, doesn't sound correct). I wasn't sure if Mighican did something like that and if they do, where do they enter the stadium and how early do they enter before games? Any information would helpfull (delete one l), thanks.

I'm pretty sure the first sentence should be:
Hey guys, I have a question.
Also, the penultimate sentence should read:
I wasn't sure if Michigan does something like that, and if they do, where do they enter the stadium, and how early do they enter before games?
And the final sentence:
Any information would be helpful. Thanks!

Don't use a question mark after "I have a question". It's a statement.

I can't believe you laid on the hooked on phonics spelling of "Mighican"? Maybe you have a 2 year old like me who says "Mig-a-shin" and just thought it sounded right.
