Coach Harbaugh Attacking Today
With the recruiting dead period ending last night, Coach Harbaugh tweeted this today at 6:44am...
Attacking this day with Enthusiasm Unknown to Mankind
— Coach Harbaugh (@CoachJim4UM) January 15, 2015
GO GET EM COACH! GO BLUE!

That quote makes me want to invade Normandy head on.

January 15th, 2015 at 7:30 AM ^

Touche M-Dog... that was good
January 15th, 2015 at 10:49 AM ^
of growing up in the Detroit area in the 70's. Sort of like the Fretter Appliance and Joshua Door commercials.
January 15th, 2015 at 11:36 AM ^
Until Freddie Poe bought it.

Guy looks like a non-drunk version of Jonathan Winters.
January 15th, 2015 at 12:26 PM ^
You would see while watching the 4'O'clock movie on WXYZ, along with the faygo pop commercials.
January 15th, 2015 at 3:26 PM ^
and all the things you did??? And that's why we make Faygo!!!
Faaayyyyggoooo remembers!
January 15th, 2015 at 8:51 AM ^
explain this? I know he said it during his press conference but is there a history behind this that I missed?
January 15th, 2015 at 9:10 AM ^
This comes from a Harbaugh locker room speech, and was the closing of it. He gathered the team (49ers in the clip I saw, but it may predate his tenure in SFO), and asked the team "who's got it better than us" and the team collectively responds "noooooobody".
Sort a "the team, the team, the team" line, albeit not quite that epic.
January 15th, 2015 at 9:19 AM ^
It comes from the Harbaugh family. Well before the 49ers locker room. John does it with Baltimore too.

This reminds me of a toast that my wife's family has been using for years: "Here's to us. And who's like us? DAMN FEW"
January 15th, 2015 at 9:49 AM ^
Wooooooohhhhhhh Bundy!
January 15th, 2015 at 9:17 AM ^
It's from the Harbaugh family, from when Jack Harbaugh was a child, the story passed down to emphasize the "appreciate-what-you-have" motto for the family.
January 15th, 2015 at 9:22 AM ^
every day before his sons went to school would say "attack this day with an enthusiam unknown to mankind."
It stuck.
January 15th, 2015 at 9:24 AM ^
I'm way, waaayy past 40! And I'm ready to suit up and play for Coach Harbaugh after reading that comment on Twitter!!
January 15th, 2015 at 1:49 PM ^
Harbaugh is the "shhh" (let me tell you little story about a man named "SHHH") routine of gung ho.
First you think - Yeah, he's gung ho, that's pretty cool!
Then you think - Man, can that actually be real? He's SO DAMN gung ho.
But then you realize you didn't understand just HOW gung ho he was, and so now you're thinking: Jackhammer doesn't even begin to describe it! :)
NOOOOOBODY!
Rob
January 15th, 2015 at 7:36 AM ^
already accomplished that mission. If you were to do that today, people might think you are lost or something. Having said that, I appreciate your enthusiasm!
January 15th, 2015 at 8:25 AM ^
You might want to hold off on that, France has had a pretty tough week and you're not likely to be well-received.
January 15th, 2015 at 11:57 AM ^
Remember what they did during 911? Karma!
January 15th, 2015 at 12:06 PM ^
What is it like to be such a bitter hateful and dumb person?
January 15th, 2015 at 11:23 PM ^
I said to hell with France and I'm hateful. Not so fast. Do you remember the absolutely offensive level of criticism and blame that the French gov't heaped upon America after the 9-11 attacks and leading up to the Iraq war?
Edit: this quickly became political, so I'll just end the dialogue now. This is a sports blog... GO BLUE!
January 15th, 2015 at 12:39 PM ^
hey, thanks for playing though! maybe come back and try again when you're not a horrible person.
January 15th, 2015 at 12:39 PM ^
Apparently you prefer Bolivia.
January 15th, 2015 at 12:53 PM ^
Yea, since the artists at Charlie Hebdo or the people at the grocer had any choice in the matter about the 9/11 attacks. Human lives were lost. You my friend, are an ass.
January 15th, 2015 at 8:53 AM ^
have shown that to my kids (turning it down for the swear words). time to march on moscow!
January 15th, 2015 at 9:47 AM ^
Time to march on that other Red Menace in Columbus OH.
January 15th, 2015 at 10:04 AM ^
Is a dork.
January 15th, 2015 at 11:55 AM ^
And why?
January 15th, 2015 at 7:28 AM ^
I believe it and would expect nothing less.
January 15th, 2015 at 7:31 AM ^
Nobody!
January 15th, 2015 at 7:33 AM ^
I love him
January 15th, 2015 at 7:35 AM ^
Exclamation mark?
January 15th, 2015 at 11:50 AM ^
I guess not today.

I'm so glad all the other personalities were taken. The one he ended up with, is the one Michigan has so sorely needed. GO BLUE.

The Ohio State win lit a fire and sent him even more thermonuclear than usual, if that's even possible.

The quintessential "sliver lining" of OSU's National Championship: Harbaugh is now going to work like Harbaugh squared.
January 15th, 2015 at 8:15 AM ^
Sliver linings can be painful
January 15th, 2015 at 8:16 AM ^
I prefer my Harbaugh cubed
January 15th, 2015 at 8:19 AM ^
Is that even safe? The Universe may implode on itself.
January 15th, 2015 at 8:45 AM ^
and exists in all points of the universe simultaneously. Harbaugheddon!!!
January 15th, 2015 at 2:15 PM ^
I'd prefer my cubes to be Harbaugh'ed. This is equivalent Graham's number, or super sayan 10.
January 15th, 2015 at 8:52 AM ^
and went right into 'super nova'.
