I am rather positive about the defensive development and scheme, FWIW. Mattison knows what he is doing (though it's hard to pull it off when your players are on the field that much and have to be depended upon to score, apparently).

I can tell you that Michigan will receive a commitment sometime in the next month or two. I can't tell you what position, what class, or the name, but there will likely be a commitment.

Beebs, yeah man everyone does appreciate your work. I'm sure you can understand that a lot of M fans have a lot of pent up frustration oozing out of their pours right now, but your posts do help shift the attention toward the future where good old "hope" is always there to soothe us in our current state of misery, especially going into this Saturday.

Personally, I like looking forward to it. I definitely like it better than announcement dates by a known recruit, which seem rarely go Michigan's way.

Well, if there is a commitment to be had next weekend, hopefully it isn't the only good news to come out of that weekend. The odds of anything more than a recruiting victory many not be great, but it is a reminder that the program does indeed go on and that the future does indeed continue to take shape.
At this point, MGoBlog could stand some good news, given the recent metrics on mood.
