Classy display by Nebraska

As a memorial to Sam Foltz, Big Red set up for a punt on 4th and 4 with no punter in place. They did not snap the ball obviously and ate the delay of game penalty. A very emotional tribute. Well done.

Great Sportsmanship.

Reminds me of a soccer game many years ago in the EPL.

The Goalkeeper was down and obviously injured and unable to compete.

The ball was crossed in to the offensive player and rather than make an attempt on the empty net, the offensive player grabbed the ball out of the air with his hands, stopped play, and went over to try to help the injured goalkeeper.

Awesome, moving gesture by both teams. Its great when people do things to help restore my faith in humanity.

Someone please hack into every device with video in happy valley and have that video play on a continuous loop... Maybe, just maybe, it'll sink in...

Missed it and sorry I did. Like some others, I was watching classless stuff like #40 of USC stomping on Minkah Fitzpatrick's nuts.

I'll have to watch ESPN just to see that. Kudos to Nebraska.

On a related note: Wisky's punter changed his number to honor one of his brethren who died in that crash.

I had goosebumps watching the video of that. Truly an awesome gesture to Sam Foltz but also to his family by both Nebraska but also Fresno for declining the penalty. It's more than just the wins and losses, it's about the impact the sport has on those who've played and those who are fans.
