Cissoko suspended

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Michigan has suspended cornerback Boubacar Cissoko indefinitely for violating team rules. Coach Rich Rodriguez made the announcement Saturday night after Iowa beat the Wolverines 30-28. Cissoko told a reporter earlier in the day he didn't travel with the team because he was "banged up," but would return in the next game. He started every game last year and the first four games this season. Cissoko lost his job in the fifth and was suspended for the sixth. Anybody else know about this yet? It's news to me

Someone posted on here last night that he was suspended for violation of team rules, but I assumed it was a one game suspension. This would be news to me that he could be missing more games. I'm wondering what he did.. even so we were okay without him but it would be nice to still have him as an option in case any kind of inuries occur.

Would like to see Boo Boo get some time against Del St. He'd either build confidence with some big plays or show that he just doesn't belong on the field yet. Either way, should be a good "assessment" game for the coaches at the season's midway point.

Or we could just pretend to be a non-conference team playing in a Bowl game and beat the hell out of you guys. It's amazing the things we can afford to do when we overwhelmingly lead in the rivalry.

Maybe its an 'indefinite' suspension the same way Blount's was for the year and he'll be back in a few weeks. If there is a time to get suspended is it before the Delaware State game.

"If there is a time to get suspended is it before the Delaware State game." It wasn't before the Delaware State game - it was before the Iowa game.
