Oh wait...
October 10th, 2013 at 3:54 AM ^
I have a throwback Grady jersey that converts into a basketball jersey. I wear it every Saturday. On Sunday I wear my Lebron high school jersey and durning the week I mix it up with classics like wade Boggs or a Brett the Hitman hart singlet.
October 10th, 2013 at 1:41 AM ^
I really hope we keep our starting QB wearing 98. That would be truly unique to Michigan.
October 10th, 2013 at 8:43 AM ^
Only if someone is deserving and that someone is the qb
October 10th, 2013 at 9:17 AM ^
Devin played about 5 some odd games and got it.
October 9th, 2013 at 11:35 PM ^
Or 21

Number 2 Jabrill Peppers
October 10th, 2013 at 12:19 AM ^
well peppers isn't going to wear that number so you may want to re think that
October 10th, 2013 at 1:44 AM ^
You honestly think, if CW shows up to UTL-IV to hand it to Jabrill in front of 115,000, that he'd turn it down?
October 10th, 2013 at 5:07 AM ^
well that may or may not happen.I'm going on what Peppers himself has said. he doesn't want to wear #2, I'm guessing he will wear #5.
October 10th, 2013 at 9:13 AM ^
The Tate Forcier legacy jersey!
October 10th, 2013 at 9:41 AM ^
Or David Underwood
October 10th, 2013 at 12:36 PM ^
Poor David Underwood. When it was finally his chance a 3 star from upstate NY showed up...
October 10th, 2013 at 5:08 AM ^
plus I have yet to see a jersey handed to anyone in front of 115,000 people.
October 10th, 2013 at 5:16 PM ^
UTL II - Harmon jersey, 115,105.
October 9th, 2013 at 11:40 PM ^
Jabrill Peppers is going to wear the number 2 (IMO) and it is going to be legendary!
October 10th, 2013 at 1:22 AM ^
As someone mentioned above, Peppers has said mulitiple times he doesn't want to wear #2, he wants to create his own identity. He has expressed an interest in #5 though, so you can go after that.
October 10th, 2013 at 8:04 AM ^
I have an old #5 as a gift during the, ahem, forcier days...
October 10th, 2013 at 9:45 AM ^
Ah yes the great Jason Forcier.
October 9th, 2013 at 11:43 PM ^
Polos or T shirts shouldn't have numbers on them.
October 9th, 2013 at 11:47 PM ^
The next person to suggest that fans of a team shouldn't own/wear team jersies is getting smacked upside the head.
October 9th, 2013 at 11:54 PM ^
I suggest that fans of a team shouldn't own/wear team jersies.
October 10th, 2013 at 12:11 AM ^
I owe you one!
October 11th, 2013 at 1:31 AM ^
- Probably crossed a lot of minds, but HIMYM was my first thought too.
- There's irony to be had here if you ignore spelling.
October 10th, 2013 at 12:28 AM ^
Fans of a certain age shouldn't own / wear team jerseys. (guess they can wear team jersies?)
Anyway . . . I don't know how old you are. If you are an active student, and below 25, go for it.
But when I think of adult men wearing jerseys, here's the prevailing image coming to mind:
To each their own, but that's not an image I like.
On the other hand, if you're a woman, jerseys are just fine:
Better yet:
October 10th, 2013 at 12:38 AM ^
That's all well and good in September, but after it hits October/November jerseys let you wear warmer things underneath so you don't freeze.
October 10th, 2013 at 1:19 AM ^
with adults wearing jerzeys to a game. I agree its out of place when worn in public to no particular sporting event. Face paint and wigs on middle aged grown adults? yeah, thats dumb.
Like the above poster noted jerseys also allow for another layer of warm clothing. Nothing wrong with them imo.
October 10th, 2013 at 9:44 AM ^
Yeah I'm not a fan of wearing them to places other than sporting events/game watching events (although if people want to I say go for it), but I do own several Michigan/wings jerseys and wear them when I go to games. I'm not a fan of people wearing basketball jerseys because I think it looks weird when you're not playing hoops, but again, if someone wants to then they should go for it because what some random dude on the Internet thinks about fashion means fuck all.
October 10th, 2013 at 5:36 AM ^
Not the damn "I am better than thou because I don't wear jerseys" attitude again.
October 10th, 2013 at 8:48 AM ^

nothing

Grow up.
October 10th, 2013 at 2:50 PM ^
Knew you'd respond.
October 10th, 2013 at 6:13 AM ^
To be fair, when I see the adult Buckeye fans dressed as they are in the one photo, I tend to see that as more of a lesson about the need to hire quality makeup consultants when producing your own science fiction series.
October 10th, 2013 at 8:32 AM ^
I really dislike those two guys. There's a third guy, wears a cowboy hat, dislike him too.
October 10th, 2013 at 8:37 AM ^
So you mention 25 and under being fine. Then show a picture of old out of shape dudes against women who appear to be 25 and under to make a point...
October 10th, 2013 at 9:22 AM ^
I've never owned a jersey because it seems a little too worshippy. If I was gonna choose thought I'd go with 98, 47, or 41 (Lytle)... but absolutely with no names.
October 10th, 2013 at 2:03 PM ^
Needs a slap upside the head. "You can't wear a jersey" clan were probably never athletic enough to wear their own jersey.
October 10th, 2013 at 3:15 AM ^
Where the hell does this crap about an adult wearing a jersey come from? Personally, I like them and I say to each his own. If you like them wear one, if you don't put on a polo.
October 10th, 2013 at 6:15 AM ^
Every jersey thread ends up being a thread about grown men telling how other grown men how to dress. I really don't care if you wear a damn fanny-pack with your jersey.
October 9th, 2013 at 11:54 PM ^
2.
Sorry, I don't have much to say tonight.
87, 98 or 21 are wonderful choices, but I'd go with 2.
October 9th, 2013 at 11:58 PM ^
Just get #21, and it will be good every year. Hemingway, Roundtree, Gallon, prolly Chesson or Darboh next year... and on and on forever. FOOOOORRRRREEEEVVVVVEEEER (Sandlot reference).
October 10th, 2013 at 12:00 AM ^
Lloyd Christmas would wear "too".
October 10th, 2013 at 12:02 AM ^
He beat MSU. He also helped Denard stay famous. That makes nonsense but a little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men.
October 10th, 2013 at 12:17 AM ^
I stared at this for 60 seconds, trying to think of what it all meant. Then I just gave in to the nonsense, and felt so much better. Plus one to you.
