Merry Christmas everyone(yeah I said it if you don't like it don't read it) it's 5:25 in Kalamazoo and I can't sleep. Excited to see the two kiddos wake up and see the look on their faces when they see all the gifts under the tree!

Also a shout out to all the men and woman serving in the armed forces that can't be home with their families today. Our family is thankful everyday for your service and bravery!

The 10 month old has been up for a few hours, the 3 year old couldn't fall asleep until super late because she was so excited.  I think the kids pretty much have this Christmas thing figured out.  I'm way more excited about the holiday season now that I have kids!

First and foremost, a Merry Christmas to the MGoCommunity!

We've already been up for about 90 minutes here actually, and of course, as is normally the case, I was up late watching games so I am running on about four hours of sleep and two pots of coffee. This year at least, my wife and I were hoping to get to at least 6 AM before someone would burst in and exclaim that Santa had come, but we were about a half hour short. Maybe next Christmas, eh?

Leftover turkey from yesterday might be the order of the day today - we have plenty left and I only cooked a 12-pound bird. Beyond that, probably basketball and "A Christmas Story" as my wife, kids and I rotate TV priviliges (i.e., as people drift in and out of the family room).

Merry Christmas everyone! First year in my son's 4 year life that I didn't buy or make him anything UM. I'm sure Grammie and Grandpa will make up for it :) My son loves the MMB and told us yesterday, I hope the elves can make a tuba because that's what I really want. Needless to say, he did not wake up to a tuba, but he still declared that Santa brought him everything he wanted. So yay!

Best wishes to all in the MGo community! We came down to Florida (from Michigan) to celebrate with the in-laws.  Having a great time.  But my neighbor back home tells me my trees got jacked pretty bad from the ice storm--next week will be back to reality. Hope everyone is enjoying the great times today with family!

Merry Christmas everyone. Hope Santa exceeds your expectations. So far the gift of the day in our house is the fart gun from Despicable Me. Not sure who likes it more - the kids or the adults...

This has been a rocky year for me, in which I will not bother you with the details, but as this year has gone on I have continuously search for the little things. The Mgocommunity has been one of those little things for years now. At times I've used it as a device to get my mind off of things. Even though it's debatably been the worst year in Michigan history, this blog has been a place where we can all come together with a common interest. And that is to fire Al Borges, but in all seriousness, thank you. There are thousands of unseen faces here that affect my life on a daily basis, even if you know it or not. So, I wish you a Merry Christmas and any other holiday you may celebrate. I have faith that things will continue to improve for me as well as they will for the program. Enjoy this time with your loved ones and Go Blue!

constipation on top of my regular irritable bowel for Christmas. Yay me. I do have to say however that I kicked ass this year in the gift giving. Made my wife cry happy tears.

You must be old.  My wife and I used to make fun of her grandparents for discussing their bowel movements (one of the funniest was her grandmother's comment on the way to the airport; "I guess I shouldn't have taken that second laxative this morning"). Now we sometimes discuss our digestive issues, which can be a pain in the ass.

Merry Christmas to all, and may your bowel movements be regular and of a comfortable and pleasing consistency!

A lot of young players who showed flashes of promise this year.  A stable coaching staff.  A well stocked war chest of funds.  My PSD is paid off for one more year.  The '14 recruiting class seems to have bonded.  There's one more chance to see the team play before spring ball-stadium practice.  The Team has faced some adversity this year, and I think they showed they never were willing to give up.  I think the sweetest victory of all is when we can conquer adversity because it puts seasons like this one into perspective.  Merry Christmas to all in MGoLand and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas everyone! I've now gone to two family get togethers and I am heading to my third and final family Christmas. Hopefully this one is as good as the other two were, though I'm worried about it.

And the day gets better ... I'm in the military and was walking out the door to go to the base while my baby daughter was running around with her Nemo and Dory when I get a phone call saying don't come in and to stay home. HUZZAH! Merry Christmas!!
