No one - and I mean NO ONE - goes from Michigan to Purdue, unless they are being nudged by Michigan to do so. And that is because no, Purdue does not play football. What they play is closer to tennis or badminton, if I had to pick another sport...

Hmmm...really like his play making ability. On the MGoRadio segment, Lorenz mentioned some guys who are committed may not end up being part of this class...but a guy looking at Purdue and also in contact with Indiana doesn't give off the best impression.

Yeah Sam Webb spoke about this on Monday I think in response to a callers question about who has verballed but may not make it in the class. He specifically said that Chris Evan had informed the coaches that he would be visiting Purdue and Indiana on officials but that he was firmly commited to the Wolverines.

Nothing to see here, move along. I mean C'mon man! Purdue?

it's about more playing time vs. being another good player among many here.  Also, it could be about being closer to home.  Yeah, it's not like Ann Arbor is that far from central Indiana.  But some guys just don't want to go that far.  Who knows?  Either way, I don't think Michigan will have much trouble filling up the class with quality players.

He also visited Indiana on October 3rd. Probably just checking some places out. No big deal. Harbaugh will not lose any kid he wants to Purdue or Indiana. Harbaugh probably could recruit in basketball for U-M and not lose a kid to Purdue or IU.

I know he talked about taking visits in the past, but I wonder if this has anything to do with Kareem Walker? If it does, then it's likely Harbaugh and company saw him at RB instead of CB or slot WR.

From the way the tables are turning the elephant in the room seems to be just how we're going to make room for the higher echelon players that are giving us new looks. I've heard rumors of grayshirts, and wonder about whether oversigning is going to become an issue for us. Hope not.

Hope he has a good time, but not too worried about losing him to either school, especially as Purdue is about to get a new coach.  He may just be trying to get more exposure for some of his high school team-mates.

Brian talked about this a while ago. IIRC, he basically said that Harbaugh usually has a number of guys who commit and don't end up enrolling. Sometimes it's due to their own choosing and sometimes it's basically made known to them that they should look elsewhere. He said prepare to be a bit uncomfortable, because while it's not illegal it's a bit unsavory and it's going to happen.
