I was under the impression that 16 was our magic number this year... we were at 13/14(?) prior to Hayes' exit. Then word came out there is another 1 or 2 leaving...

(Was Bosch's exit considerd in that original number?)

But it's 16 commits. 7 more.

One per position I posted.

The comments were TRYING to say...

1 more RB (Weber), 1 more WR (one of the recent offers), 1 more TE (Clark), 1 more DE (Pickard), 2 more DBs (1 CB and 1 DB --- and 2 of the 4-5 guys we're in on to make up those 2 spots), 1 more TE/DE (TWJ)

The CB/DB comments make it confusing. But I was just trying to say we need 2 guys for the secondary and I think we'll get 2 of the 4-5 guys we're in on.

Is there any chance Herman recruits Braxton or J.T. to follow him to Houston? I saw a rumor somewhere Barrett was considering transferring back home to Texas to go to Houston (to be with Herman who recruited him) on Big Ten Network, but wouldn't Braxton be the smarter option since he can play right away?

I could see FSU, I just am unsure on Oregon... not that he couldn't, it just doesn't seem realistic to me.

On Barrett, I didn't think he would either, but BTN.com had a piece yesterday where two of their 'heads' were talking about him considering it... which to me made no sense, yet at the same time seemed like it wasn't unfathomable (did I spell that correctly?)... He's from that area, had a great relationship with Herman [apparently], and is the talk of being the #2 by default now that he's gone... not sure how much to read into that.

Either way, my bad, didn't mean to thread jack.

It is like one of my kids who couldn't decide which college to go to. He was totally unable to make a decision. I wanted him to make and own the decision, one of those growing up experiences. Finally he asked "what should I do?" I gave him my answer and that was the decision. Time for Weber's parents to say, son, Michigan is the way to go. Don't worry about all that other stuff.

Not that he necessarily took the picture today, but if harbaugh met with Weber today and was out in CT with Clark tonight, amazing. Also, Clark just happened to have a Michigan Football shirt on? Go blue.

If Urban came to visit me...I'd kick him in the nuts, tell him to get the fuck off my porch, slam the door in his face and go call the police on him.

As he fell to the ground before that deep pain attacked his midsection I'd yell...GO BLUE!

because neither Woodson or Howard ever visited osu. Their words from their mouths in an interview before the '11 Sugar Bowl. I'd heard Woodsin day that before but it was the first I'd heard Howard didn't either. Supposedly, neither ever took a step on the osu campus until they were players at UM.

also, what area? I grew up a bit in NW OH and our HS played Freemont Ross when I was in the 6th grade & Woodson was a Senior. They (he...lol) kicked our butt and we were good but a smaller school. Born & live in Michigan, moved to Ohio age 8 & back to Michigan age 16. Just curious as I recently found a few posters that are from/live in my home town in Michigan the other day on here.
