Chris Balas: Jim Harbaugh has signed

Submitted by MGoVictory on

Not sure where the Mich. jet is now (en route, over a mountain, etc.), but we know Harbaugh has signed to be U-M's next coach.

EDIT: More information:

Hearing now it's a 7-year deal with Harbaugh. As reported long ago, not $8 million guaranteed. With incentives, etc., could reach that ...

But no matter what everyone said about U-M having to "sweeten the pot and outbid," etc. - they didn't. This was never about money.

What a douchebag thing to do.  He's being interviewed on-air and he spends most of that time looking at his phone.

Hey asswipe, whoever is texting you doesn't know shit.  You may as well pay attention to the interview.

Shefter still saying if everything was even, JH would have stayed in the NFL.  That guy is Puke. He is sitting there on camera playing with his phone texting, while he is being interviewed at the same time.

My state of well-being is still in shock. It hasn't quite hit me yet that this actually is happening. I really am at a loss of words. When he takes the podium tomorrow it will be an unbelievable feeling. I have that feeling back...I think I had become numb because of the losing, I had some positive flow a couple years ago after the Sugar Bowl, but I don't even think it felt like what I'm about to feel after I see Harbaugh's presser. GO BLUE!

Anyone else feeling a superb sense of relief (is that happiness??) after the general craziness of the last month?

Time to exhale.

As many of you know, I was so skeptical.  I just couldn't believe this was going to happen, however, it is now becoming clear that Jimmy was thinking about this job for awhile now and that he wants to be here.  I can't get over how awesome this all is.  I don't think we can fully understand at this point how much this changes, well, everything.  Way to go Boss.

I could cry I'm so happy right now.

I will be going to WALMART tomorrow to buy the same cheap ass pleated khakis Harbaugh wears. And will wear them EVERY GAME HE COACHES like I said I would back in September.
