Oh my GOD!!!! Kids are transferring from the program. It must mean that there are zero family values and the program is not what it once was

Or, maybe it just means that when 4-star kids realize they will be sitting the bench, or, that the system is not utilizing their talents they are better off somewhere else.

The Only Colors guys don't think this makes sense, but then again the verbiage in Izzo's statement about "one other player that's up in the air" definitely seems odd.

A couple months ago when Allen was suspended from the team for the B10 Tourney, I heard from somebody I work with who knows somebody who talked to somebody who is a booster for MSU that the reason for it was because Allen had tried to fight Summers. Apparently Summers had, uh, "relations" with Allen's girlfriend and Allen was pissed. It could be that Allen just doesn't want to be around the team anymore after all that drama.
Like I said, take this with a BAG of salt, this could be a load of crap and/or I may be an idiot. But, rumor-mongering is what the internets are for...

From reading your post, it sounds like this is actually more widespread than I thought (I try not to talk to State people so I guess I'm out of the loop when it comes to their stuff).
From what I heard, it was actually Summers who knocked up Allen's girl, not the other way around, but whatever it's not like it matters.
I'm not sure I would believe this story. When Marcus Taylor was at MSU and left after his sophomore year, there were a lot of stories going around that Taylor slept with Kelvin Torbert's girlfriend (or KT slept with Taylor's, I don't rmember). But this type of story seems to make the rounds every so often in EL.

This exact same rumor was floating around about Villinova bball players Corey Fisher and Scottie Reynolds.

Transfers are more than likely about playing time or playing system/ style.
Yup I heard this too. He actually got her pregnant and Durell fought Chris and Kalin broke it up and they had to call Izzo in. Overall, just a bad situation.
This may sound farfetched, but if you read the mlive article Izzo's comment may bring truth to these rumors. Izzo talks about how during the season “it made him feel awful”
The rumor is that, when Allen was suspended for one game earlier in the season (I believe the big ten tourney) it was due to a fight between Chris Allen and Durrell Summers. Apparently, Allen had been sleeping with Durrell's girlfriend and got her pregnant. I have a lot of friends at MSU who said they have been hearing this for about a month now. Take it for what its worth...

Try and put yourself in the coach's position. Jesus christ, that would suck. Kids will be kids but that's a tough scenario to handle.
Two transfers is around 16 or 17 percent of the program. This is a much higher percentage than RR had during his nightmare year, but I'll bet you will never hear of that in the MSM.
Just please stop already.
Too bad MSU would still be a top 10 team without him.
