I'm going with door letter 3!
October 9th, 2009 at 5:45 PM ^
what about the first one with a blue strip on the jersey?
October 9th, 2009 at 5:47 PM ^
I will take number C
October 9th, 2009 at 5:47 PM ^
All white, man.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:48 PM ^
#3 it is
October 9th, 2009 at 5:49 PM ^
All white would be sweet.
October 9th, 2009 at 7:37 PM ^
i've always loved texas's white on white with long white socks.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:50 PM ^
How about we just wear our home uniforms for every away game instead.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:51 PM ^
All white doesn't look quite as bad as I thought it would. I'm not sold on the blue pants, doesn't look quite right somehow. Given a choice of those three, I'd go with all white. However I will still freak out if they do show up with all white uni's tomorrow night.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:52 PM ^
I hope that the White Pants have Maize and Blue stripes on them like the old 70s pants had. That would look much better than just plain white.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:56 PM ^
I agree with adding stripes. But, not the stripes we had back then, it would be too retro. Plus, imagine the old pants with todays jersey.
NOW, if we went the "retro" look, it would be cool. Jerseys and all.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:53 PM ^
I love it.
I say all white with a stripe resembling the jersey on the pants. Or the blue pants, blue stripe one with maize outline going into the blue pants.
If we wear maize pants, no stripes, thats tradition.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:55 PM ^
I would pick number #3.
If they do go all white, I hope there is piping or a stripe on the pants.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:56 PM ^
I can live with the white pants, but once we get blue pants the next step will either be to wear them at home or wear them with a maize jersey.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:57 PM ^
You know how teams can wear home jerseys now if it isn't similar colors?
We should rock blue pants/maize jerseys in the horseshoe next year.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:56 PM ^
I choose normal road jerseys.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:56 PM ^
but lose that damned yellow streak on the sides.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:56 PM ^
If you look closely at our pants they have pipping/panels that align perfectly with the side maize stripe on our white jerseys. I would imagine our white pants would still have the maize pipping/panels aligning with the stripe on our jerseys. Louisville just wore something like that (sorry no photo). That is my guess.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:00 PM ^
Damn, good call. Supposely our home blue jerseys have the stripes our away ones have as well. But, obviously, they are blue on blue.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:00 PM ^

October 9th, 2009 at 6:01 PM ^
Thank you. You beat me to it, but thank you.
October 9th, 2009 at 5:58 PM ^
All white and trashy same way I like my women
October 9th, 2009 at 6:00 PM ^
White pants, like white shoes and white belts, are an abomination.
Blue pants are much, much worse.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:50 PM ^
white shoes are an abomination? you've really never worn white shoes before?
October 9th, 2009 at 7:53 PM ^
Running/cross trainers are white, but that's it.
From a pure public relations standpoint—completely aside from aesthetic considerations—I think it would be smart for RR to avoid any tinkering with the unis until he's gotten a couple of winning seasons—including victories over MSU and OSU—under his belt first. The stadium expansion and going 3-9 was hard enough for the blue hairs and old alums to swallow, and when you add the rawk music at home games that even younger fans like our own Mr. Cook find horrible, RR risks pushing a pretty conservative fan base faster than it wants to go.
Besides, the uniforms aren't broken, and don't need fixing. It's the play on the field that's in need of a fix.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:02 PM ^
MAIZE RAGE JERZEEEEESSSS!!!!!!!!!
October 9th, 2009 at 6:03 PM ^
Can I see what a yellow stripe and yellow pants would look like? I think that would kick ass.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:07 PM ^
I've been wanting for a long time to see us wear blue pants for our away jerseys. I think they would look really good with our helmet. Just lose the stripes on the away jersey.
IME, the blue road pants look better than an all white uniform. Our helmet just doesn't fit with an all white option. The teams that work it best are Penn State and Texas because they have white helmets to go with it.
October 9th, 2009 at 10:03 PM ^
As much as I hate to admit it, State's all white unis look pretty good, as do Alabama's, and neither have white helmets (although they do have white stripes on their helmet).
October 9th, 2009 at 6:09 PM ^
Yellow accent stripes- goes better with the helmet.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:13 PM ^
beat me to it!
October 9th, 2009 at 6:12 PM ^
Blue pants might look ok w/ a yellow stripe on the side.
October 9th, 2009 at 10:55 PM ^
we are not Cal nor WVU. We are Michigan.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:21 PM ^
OMG we could have booty pants!!111
October 9th, 2009 at 8:13 PM ^
...Not to mention a blue to maize gradient on the socks!
October 9th, 2009 at 9:55 PM ^
That is simply awesome. Good work on that one. We could put some sweet slogan on the Glutes, too. Maybe "eat my dust" or even "Can't touch this". Obviously im not serious, but seriously, we should consider it.
October 9th, 2009 at 10:07 PM ^
Obviously im not serious, but seriously, we should consider it.
Make up your mind, man.
October 9th, 2009 at 10:02 PM ^
Let's hope we win in them--you know if we lose we're never breaking them out again.
October 9th, 2009 at 10:04 PM ^
Those are tacky.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:28 PM ^
all nude.
Tastefully done.
But definitely, all nude.
Yeah.
Cause that's important.
Yeah.
To be tasteful.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:30 PM ^
Would that be categorized as Barwis Porn? Seeing how he helped sculpt them into hulk-bashing machines and all?
October 9th, 2009 at 7:11 PM ^
Nude, with winged helmet cup.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:31 PM ^
i'd prefer the blue striping on both the jersey and uniform.
Here's a question, why am I seen a different addidas road jersey in stores with no maize striping at all?
October 9th, 2009 at 6:36 PM ^
Adidas replicas and 'replithentics' or whatever you want to call them are terrible. Both have different striping and piping, and both are wrong. Only the authentics are right. That was one good thing about Nike, the replicas had the right striping, only the materials were different.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:31 PM ^
I definitely like option #1 and #3. #2 looks too WVU-ish. But if I had to pick just one, I'd go with the white pants because of the old traditional look. That's how we did it back in the day and I think it'd be a good look to go back to.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:39 PM ^
how many posts (and Photoshopped pictures) can be dedicated to the color of men's tight pants on a football blog. I'm going to abstain and just vote for a W, regardless of pant color.
October 9th, 2009 at 6:40 PM ^
When did our colors change from Maize and Blue to White and perhaps a little Maize or Blue hidden in there somewhere.
Hate them all!
October 9th, 2009 at 7:19 PM ^
I completely agree. With the new rule change I want us to just wear the home uniforms all the time.
October 9th, 2009 at 7:51 PM ^
i love the all white
