Could the USA chicken industry sue Notre Dame? The university's negative reaction to being associated with chickens is an insult to an industry that not only provides healthy food options to hundreds of millions of Americans but also supports millions of jobs.

For our Notre Dame fans, translation has been provided in the only language they understand:

Bwak bak bak bak bwak Notre Dame? Bwak bak bak bak bak bwaak bwak bak bak bwaak.

They're not literally chickens. Figuratively, sure, nobody is going to deny that. All of this could have been avoided had Hoke just called them cowards...

What do you mean by "all of this"? All I see is a single, indignant message-board post by an ND fan (which was ridiculed by other ND fans).

I hope they do.

I would love to sit in that room when both sides explain themselves.

Michigan "they ended the rivalry because we have won 4 of the last 5...So they are chickens"

Mediator "makes sense to me"

Nd "umm we need to play acc teams"

Mediator " so why play Purdue and msu?

Nd " we'll we beat them... Oh shit"

The facts are the same time Notre Dame was contemplating dropping us for the 2015 game...they added UMass.

The ACC was giving them wide flexibility in the first few years for making the schedule fit and work...

They claimed that SOS was important...Notre Dame could have kept Michigan...they dropped us and added UMass for 2015...

Last I checked, our law school ranks in #9 in the county. Theirs doesn't even crack the top 20. They don't want to mess with Michigan lawyers. If we went up against each other in court, I'm confident we'd be favored by at least a field goal.

I, Bryan Mac, state outright that Notre Dame, its football team and football personnel, and its athletic department are chickens. They are literally fowl. They roost, have feathers, and lay eggs. Their cancellation of the series with Michigan is caused by, and evidence of, their biological state of chicken-ness. I don't mean this as metaphor or hyperbole, but rather as a statement of fact intended to disseminate that information to any who would look upon these words.

Come at me, bro.
