Cheer heard at GLI championship

Submitted by Brhino on

Greetings, Mgocommunity!  I have an inquiry.

I was unable to watch the GLI championship myself (excessive toddler vomiting situation - don't ask), but my sister was present as a member of the Alumni Band.  She was telling me about the game and mentioned that she had heard a cheer she did not recognize.  I couldn't tell her what it was based on her information, but surely someone on here can.  The facts of the matter:

  • The cheer was performed in the third period, during a review of a Michigan goal.
  • It was in some way a ref taunting cheer, but it was NOT "ref you suck".  It sounded like "Ref is a (????)."
  • It was described as new, since no-one in the alumni band recognized it, and it has been described as "poorly enunciated"

So... What was the cheer?

Just a guess, but could it have been "The ref's have lost control"?  I've noticed they do that at B-Ball games, maybe it got taken to the Joe?

too many toddlers were vomiting simultaneously? Or that one toddler was chucking with regularity?

I've been in both circumstances, personally, and I think all in all I'd go to the GLI instead of put up with that....

It was a singular toddler who was vomiting with regularity.  I was all like "Daddy wants to watch hockey", but she decided puking herself to the point of dehydration and a trip to Saint Joe would be more fun.  Kids.

The refs had indeed lost control.

But basically they couldn't get anything right after they checked the net. (And even in the first period they screwed that up.)
