Charles Woodson - NFL Hall of Famer????

Submitted by James Burrill Angell on
So I figured one day Tom Brady would join Dan Dierdorf among our living NFL Hall of Famers. Does Charles Woodson now enter that equation? 12 years in the league as a starter (with no let up in sight) 6 time Pro Bowl Selection NFL Def. Rookie of the Year Now NFL Def Player of the Year Is it enough???

Yes. He will be in the HOF at some point. Speaking of which, Dick LeBeau needs to be in the HOF. I can't believe that guy isn't a Hall of Famer. It's kind of ridiculous.

He's also a Heisman winner who has actually had success in the NFL. I think he is making a very good case for himself to get a good luck when it comes time for him to be considered.

In my book, absolutely! He is a lock! I guess that is why they don't let me vote for the hall of fame though. If I had to give an honest opinion I would say that by the end of his career he would be in , yes. I think he would get in now wit his credentials but definitely by the end of his career.

Going into this year he was probably on the bubble or maybe even a little worse, but after the DPOY it's a near certainty. If he plays a couple more years and gets in at least one more Pro Bowl then he'd be a 100% lock.

I hope so. What really helped him was this year and his ability to play a number positions on defense successfully. As a CB alone, he has been good but not great in the NFL, but as an all-purpose defensive back, he is dynamite. I think he is in now, and probably will jump up the ranks a bit of the all-time great DBs with a few more years like this one.
