Tribute to Charles.
Tribute to Charles.
being a huge packer and michigan fan.....the thoughts of charles on a bad day is the best cure
has to be one of the most overrated players in Michigan football history.
Don't diss Charles.
I noticed you have a sarcasm tag line for your posts. Does that mean that every post you make will be sarcastic?
I just made the /s really small. I didn't think people would actually think I was being serious.
Any time there is potential of saying Woodson is anything less than awesome needs a gigantic sarcasm tag or needs not be said at all.
I prefer the latter personally.
The pos/neg buttons aren't tied into the points yet are they?
Nope, you're lucky. Woodson is sacred around these parts.
A warm welcome back to those of you who made it, and a friendly word of warning, something you won't find in any guidebook: the next time you check into a deserted hotel on the dark side of Hollywood, make sure you know just what kind of vacancy you're filling, or you may find yourself a permanent resident . . . of The Twilight Zone.
I DIDN'T FIND THIS AMUSING.
I've never heard of him so don't feel bad. Do you mean Barkley?
First and only player who played predominantly a defensive role to win the Heisman trophy.
Crucial member of the team that won the MNC in the Rose Bowl, where he had a drive killing critical interception in the endzone.
Star defensive player in the Big Ten
Star defensive player in the NFL - won defensive player of the year.
Good Michigan man with solid big money donations to CS Mott Hospital.
Not a guy who has been caught in scandals and off field mischief.
Maybe there are other less heralded Michigan players who should be as well known and appreciated. But I hope when he is done playing that Charles Woodson would be an ambassador for UM football.
The guy is simply a class act.
Congradulations, you sucessfully yanked 36 chains and counting. When I finished reading I was nearly on the floor. I think I hear fax paper being loaded into fax's around the country. Game On, Go Blue!
He simply played at a faster speed than everyone else.
I know charles had a baby in January, but does anyone know if it was a boy or girl? The world could use a Charles Woodson Jr.
he had Charles Jr. first then he just had another son. So I guess we have two more heismans coming our way.
I'm counting on six if they're two years apart.
you are the MAN! Great job as always!
This made me feel better about the "blizzard." Thanks.
(Also, him beasting on Terry Glenn was awesome)
I miss John Cooper.
Good ol' 2-10-1.
Being from Saginaw and having met Woodley a few times at the Y I would be very happy to see him bring another ring home. That being said I hope Woodson kicks the shit out of that asshole Roethlisberger en route to a Pack victory.
No matter what the future holds for Michigan Football...
Watching that video just makes me get all nostalgic about the fact that there will NEVER be anything as special as the Fall of 1997 was in my life.
There will never be another player like Woodson.
Wow I Loved that video and had such a beautiful ending
But in my opinion he is the greatest player ever to don the maize and blue.
It is too bad that Michigan hasnt recruited a player like Charles Woodson in a while. There will never be another player to win the Heisman as a primary defensive player. Hopefully Mattison and Hoke can bring back those defenses that Woodson was a part of.
Well, helped that Woodson was about a one in a million talent. Has nothing to do with not recruiting a player like him, and more to do with the fact that there aren't a lot of players like him.
Woodsen retiring and joining the staff as dbs coach
